Fantastic Beasts Pen - Bowtruckle~~ Awesome pen with solid build.
So I ordered this as a Christmas gift for some one else (while ordering other Harry Potter items for him) but when I received it, it was all about me, and I'm not a huge HP Fan. Who was I kidding? I love Bowtruckle! I ordered 2 of the Gryffindor pens (for gifts) after seeing first hand how well the pens are made. These pens are also very beautiful, and well made, but too heavy for a small child.~~ Solid, heavy build pen. Not for a 5 year old to use.~~Beautiful coloring and detail on the Bowtruckle and Gryffindor.I can not comment on longevity, but would purchase again, and do recommend with no regret.Excellent gifts for HP fans.

Great collectable
This pen is VERY heavy, and also very textured on the outside (as depicted). Great quality but not practical for everyday use, especially for someone younger. I'm personally 38 and was bummed I cant even use it as much as I was hoping. In addition to the weight, which I could get used to, the texture is very "deep" and because you have to hold it a bit tighter due to the weight, the texture digs into your finger/knuckle.Bottom line, yes, I'd buy it again and the others too because they are so dang cool but with the appropriate expectation that they are more to admire and occasionally use here and there for jotting things down than an everyday writter.

Pour un fan de HP et des AF, c'est un stylo de collection à avoir (avec les 3 autres AF tout comme ceux de HP). Dommage qu'il n'existe pas de porte-stylos spécial Animaux Fantastiques donc j'ai racheter le porte-stylos HP choixpeau pour les exposer. Pour collectionneur adulte ou averti, pas pour des enfants.
