these are made in china when you review the info showing the process and artisans it seems like a good they are made in the UK but they are clearly made in china still cute for $20 wouldn't trust them in the microwave

These little bowls are perfect to accompany tea service: butter, clotted cream, jam, whatever. Perfect size.

I had wanted a bit larger dishes for desserts. But these make excellent individual sauce dishes. They come in handy for a person to do their own dipping.
