Munchkin Gentle Transition Baby Sippy Cup, Spill Proof, 4 Months & Up

These little munchkin sippy cups are perfect for any baby transitioning from bottles to cups. They do not leak. They hold plenty of beverage and my granddaughter loves holding them by the handle so she can feed herself. I just love these sippy cups.

Perfect for little hands and new sippers. No leaks so far and the softer silicone spout with what we describe as a spring works great. Seems to be balanced right even when full for my granddaughter.

My daughter is an absolute terror when it comes to textures and stuff like that. I tried probably 4 or 5 sippy cups before this one... I am so glad I tried this one! This is the ONLY sippy cup she will take. These are super easy to clean and use. If you're still using formula or mixing powder, I would recommend having a bottle specifically for that because these do not mix things well when you shake them. They leak out the top when shaken. They don't leak though when sitting upside down, which my daughter loves to do. At bedtime she just kinda throws it to the side and goes to sleep, no leaking yet! We use it for formula, plant-based milk, juice, etc.

Update 1/1/21: Still like this cup, DD is eleven months old but she's learned how to do this thing (intentionally) to the cup where she sucks air into the spout and plugs it up so throughout the day I have to like fix the spout again. So that is driving me nuts, yet another reason I prefer the NUK brand over this one. it still works fine and better than others but having to fix the spout like 20 times is a bit aggravating but that is because my daughter came up with a little quirk she has fun doing for some reason, lol. Old review: I personally prefer the NUK cup if you look at Peggy's image that she posted (Peggy on Mar 15, 2019) The blue cup she shows on the far right is my favorite but this Munchkin cup is my second favorite and the Nuby cup is my least favorite of the 3 I decided to keep. I also tried 2 other Munchkin brand cups that I deemed unusable and useless and I returned those others back to Amazon. The weighted straw cup and the 360 cup by Munchkin are awful, IMO. This one's decent but I have found sometimes it is hard to get the lid completely put together right and if that happens rthis will leak. The Nuby cup does that also, but that nuby cup leaks 99% of the time and I pretty much only use the Nuby cup if my NUK and Munchkin are all dirty. My Nuby cup is my back up cup. My Munchkin cup is a back-up to the NUK but it's still better than Nuby.

My baby loves it, sometimes I dissolve formula powder in warm water then cool with some ice, to make it like a ice latte- he is chugging it!

I absolutely love this little cup! I didn’t realize that the spout is very flexible and soft but I’m so glad it is. My daughter is 8 months old and loves biting and tugging on it when teething. It has held up very well and we use it often as it’s her favorite sippy cup and we’ve had it over a month. For the most part it doesn’t leak but when she bites and pulls, the pressure of it opens the little holes and she’ll sometimes splatter water droplets around. The flow is great and not too fast when sucking, but if your baby bites it while sucking the water may come out too fast. My daughter often does this and gets too much but she doesn’t seem to mind. It just dribbles out the sides of her mouth. I wouldn’t recommend for very young babies unless it’s just water.

We got this sippy cup for our 6-month old at the time so she could start transitioning into drinking from cups. Obviously, leak-proof was very important to us as well as how easily it can be cleaned and how easily she can hold the cup. The cup is not leak proof at all, though we decided that as long as it's just water in there we don't mind that she spills since this is a learning step for us. I do like how easily the spout can be cleaned and how flexible it is which is huge in helping her learn how to drink from it. I would not say that it is easy to hold since the handles pop off very easily. Other than that, she's very happy with this cup and we think it was still a good purchase.

This is the best sippy cup we tried!! We purchased 3 different cups, and this is what we found:. Munchkin cup (on left in picture) - this cup has the softest and most flexible spout; it is very easy for baby to hold; the liquid does not come out too quickly; and the liquid doesn't spill out when turned on its side. Evenflo sippy cup (in middle in picture): this cup has a medium-soft spout (it is firmer than the Munchkin spout, but softer than the Nuk spout); these handles are the easiest for baby to hold out of all the cups we tried. Nuk sippy cup (far right in picture) - this cup was our least favorite; the spout is very stiff and it's pretty much like all the regular hard plastic sippy cups on the market. It's great for babies! I use it for my 6 month old. She can drink with ease. It doesn't spill because to drink you have to sort of push the teat together but my baby learnt very quickly how to do it.
