Works Great in darkness, with on off handwave
Work at a golf course and start at 5 amThe head lamp is right on for brightness so I can see in pitch blackness. Think the auto on/off with wave of hand is my favorite part. Lightweight, good distance on light. Little tricky on the button sometimes but could be because its a new toy.
