Does exactly what it's supposed to do
This was a Christmas gift for my dad. He works as an air craft mechanic and does a LOT of sheet metal work. He immediately had a use for it when he needed to grip a piece that was at an angle with not a lot of access. The tool did it's job and clamped down as intended. Made for welding but great for paintless repair
This locking plier has just the right (right) angle I need to for straightening flanges on fenders or wings.I can see it would be great for welding body panels on too, its thin edge allowing to check alignment on adjacent panels as you clamp.The lock release is in just the right place, and I don't fear bruising my hands from a clamp popping open.Tim
