AllmanBariatric Coccyx Gel Cushion (3.5" x 16" x 18")

I had no idea when I was shopping for a cushion for my mom after she hurt her tail bone that there would be SO many cushions on the market - as well as SO many reviews. Unsure and in a rush, I went to a medical supply store and ended up spending a big chunk of change ($62) for this Coccyx Gel Cushion by Allman. That was several months ago. It is as cushiony as day one, has not compressed what so ever, still giving perfect support relieving any pressure on her tailbone. She takes it everywhere - we even put it in the car. I started putting it on my chair when she chooses the couch. I even put it on my pricey Aeron office chair that was already comfortable and it made it even more so! So I bought my own Coccyx Gel Cushion. It's perfect for sitting long hours at my desk. On the not so positive side, it is slightly bulky to carry - a handle that flattens would have been nice. But that's a very small thing compared to the quality and pain-free sitting the cushion allows. Oh and it's way less expensive on Amazon!

It's so cushy on my tushy. I have a baby hinny and there's not much meat on the bones. This cradles it so my hind end doesn't get sore. Sometimes it's what's not there that makes a difference. If you've never tried a cut out, please do. Life can be good again. No more bad moods from an achy bum.

We bought this for my husband because he had pain in the tailbone area when sitting at his desk for work. The cushion seemed to work well at first but in a couple of weeks it had flattened and his pain is back. I'm not sure what to do to help him at this point, but this did not work for him. I feel like something advertised for bariatric use should have held up better than this for a man who is average weight, which is why I chose this one hoping it would last a long time...it did not.

I bought this for a patient of mine and she absolutely loves it. The price is kind of high, but the comfort of my patient was worth it.

Great!! Makes my sofa tall enough to be easier to stand up. The triangle at the back is wonderful for avoiding tailbone pain, which I’ve had since my son was born 51 years ago.

Love this Allman Bariatric Coccyx Gel Cushion (3.5" x 16" x 18"). What a differenceit made and gave me lots of relief. I like it so much I am purchasing another just to put in my office chair.

I bought this for my Mother who is using a wheel chair. She loves it. She says that it is not too hard and the padding doesn't go flat. It is thick enough that it cushions the seat without being uncomfortable.

This is a replacement for one I have been using for eight years. It has worked well even though I am heavier than it is rated for. My old one is still functional, but since it is only about an inch thick now it is not as soft as the new one.
