The material is light weight and flowy. It takes on the shape of your body. I ordered one size up from what I normally fit and it fit well. The only problem is that I've returned 2 dresses. The first dress had a small brown stain in the lining that showed through the lace. It was front and center under the neckline, so it was hard to ignore.
