Awesome product
Great upscaler. My GameCube looks as good if not better than the Wii with component. My GC games look amazing on the 55" LCD now. Before I had this product it was an eyesore. Not anymore. Games look great again.

Expensive but worth it
Enables progressive scan for the gamecube, games that allow progressive scan look immensely better. Forget playing gamecube games on the wii, my gamecube has better graphics than the wii now!

Amazing product, with amazing customer service!
I have had a bit of an interesting experience, and I feel I should share. When I first heard about this product (through the use of another EON device, the "Super64"), I was ecstatic, I mean, I absolutely love my GameCube but was sad that I could only display it through the default component cables, and more and more modern TVs no longer support component/AVI connection. The GCHD Mk-II, while a tad expensive at the moment, goes even further than a standard HDMI adapter and is well worth even its current price....Anyway, on to the experience itself! Upon receiving and testing the unit, I was absolutely heartbroken to find that it did not work. HOWEVER! I reached out to the EON team and asked for assistance. They were quick to reply, and after I explained my situation I asked if I could be sent a replacement for it, to which they asked if I could mail them the unit I received and said that if they couldn't repair it they would send me a completely new unit for free. After some mailing, the wait for them to receive that unit began. I received confirmation that it was received a few days later, and that testing/repairing would begin very soon. ...I then (the next day) received a rather curious reply. It turns out that when they tested that unit, they didn't find anything wrong! Just to stay on the safe side though, they said they'd send me a new one. When I eventually (good heavens mailing during this entire COVID episode is slow) received that new unit, I immediately hooked it up and tested it, but still, nothing. After an email to the support team, we thought that perhaps the issue lay with a faulty port on my GameCube. The person on the support team helping me didn't feel right in leaving me there, and after some communication he eventually asked me if I could clean the port and then test. After reading this, I immediately got some Q-tips and gently wiped down the port and went to test. That test went perfectly, and now I could use my new GCHD Mk-II without worry. If you didn't wanna read this entire review, don't worry, I'll quickly summarize. EON team small but make great product. Amazing customer service. Very kind. Very helpful.

My honest review
I’ll admit, this item was very pricey and probably not the best thing to buy. But what fascinates me is that it can plug in both ports of the back of my GameCube, it has a headphone jack, and the visuals and quality is just so much better than what i originally used. It was easy and didn’t require a power supply at all. It works perfect!

Pricey but worth seeing your childhood games in a new light
I ordered an n64 one and a GameCube one. The n64 one is a dud, waiting for a replacement but the GameCube one, it’s night and day between the composite cables vs this product. I tested it out with MK double dash. The distance is blurry with the original cables but with this, it’s super clear. I’m very impressed. The only issue I had was you really need to push it in and make it tight to work. Other than that, it’s a solid product. A little expensive but worth it giving your older systems some quality of life improvements.

Amazingly better!
Awhile back I bought a 1st-gen GameCube. We hooked it up to our 75” Bravia 4k TV and, of course, it looked like crap. So after researching for the best GameCube to HDMI converter there is, I came across the MK-ii and it looks amazingly better!

Great product and customer service
I purchased this product several years ago but never used it for whatever reason. Recently, I tried using it only to find that it was not providing a video output signal. Despite the duration of time since my purchase, I reached out to EON customer support, who told me they would fix the item or replace it for free. I only had to pay for the shipping label to their facility, which I was more than willing to do given the price of the item. I quickly received my item afterwards which worked with no hitches. I am very satisfied with the product and my experience with customer support.About the device itself, just make sure to firmly seat the device in the console. There is a very handy light indicating if it has proper connection. (Mine originally had the light on but no video which prompted my customer service experience.) There is also functionality for a universal remote, which is a very nice feature. I use HD Retrovision Wii component cables and a standard 3.5mm aux cable for the audio, as YouTubers MyLifeInGaming show that it gives a slightly more crisp image, which I am very satisfied with. It is also compatible with my OSSC and my mCable.

Incredible Picture quality, no lag
I will start with negatives:- Build quality (should be better) but it's good enough to last for years- Pricy ($159)Positives:- Absolutely incredible picture quality- Seems very stable from behind, doesn't fill like it will fall off (like with some other products)- You can use both Component Cables and HDMI (at once) -> Great for streaming- Plug and Play, no need to delve into settings of any kind.My Rating 9/10 - would give it 10, but it's pricy.
