Q: How many yards does it shine and how wide or an arrange does it have?

Hello! The TC1200 has the ability to shine up to 100 yards and when fully zoomed out, will illuminate 180 degrees. Thanks!

Q: Why is this 4x's more expensive than direct from the manufacturer?

There are dozens of knock-offs for this flashlight. The Amazon item is the real TAC1 1200. Got one for Christmas last year, and buying for my daughters this year.

I have this flashlight it is my favorite. I needed a magnet on the end so as to attach it to something while I am working. I use two 18650 lithium battery's that gives me a fresh battery whenever I need it. To answer your question, I don't know where it is manufactured. I do know it is rugged as I have had it since 2019 and I have put it through the paces. It has dropped many times. The only issue I have is when I am using it in a ceiling and stuck to a magnetic object. I get busy and I step down off my ladder and forget to get it out of the ceiling. That is on me, no fault of the light.
