Twice the price, half the thickness
I bought a bunch of yarn at my local craft store, but found myself in a bind when I needed 1 more roll ASAP to finish my project and the local stores were all out of stock of the color I needed. I turned to Amazon and found the exact brand and color I needed….but for twice the price of the same yarn at Michael’s. It was still cheaper and faster than ordering online at Michael’s (shipping alone was around $10) so I went for it. Imagine my dismay when I started using it and found that it’s half the thickness of the other balls I had bought at Michael’s! I double and triple checked the label and description and it definitely says it’s the same yarn, but it is absolutely not the same. If this is just product variation due to being a separate batch, then product variation is way too wide to use this for a project ever again. Its soft, I’ll give it that, but I will not be buying this again any time soon.
