Made up words
This household loves Dr Seuss books. We still like this one but I felt like it just had too many made up words (like Dr Seuss does) for the kids to really follow the story or get the message. It gets lost on trying to figure out the made up words to flow.

A Good reminder that most all of us (in western culture) have much to be grateful for.
A friend bought this for me, saying that tho I've 'chronic pain' and a long-time busted skeleton, I find good in every day ( lessons from my Granperes). I have some food, a small a roof & a yard, 3 good friends, trees in that yard, birds in those trees & so on. Bought a few for 'under 50' kids. Good peeps, but seem to feel they're victims, not being able to have the 'best & new' or whatever our now over-consumptive world pushes on us. This book would be good to have in every home, school & library. (I also suggest "You're Only Old Once" )

Another ride through Seussville
Although we think we have all the weight of the world sitting on our shoulders, a book comes along that asks the question Did I Ever Tell You How Lucky You Are? And who better to focus our lens on the things that matter than Dr. Seuss. With his quirky rhythmic and tongue twisting prose and hilarious illustrations of off the beaten path creatures and scenarios, Seuss takes readers through his adventurous world that begins with an old man in the Desert of Drize telling young Duckie that "Some people are much more...oh, ever so muchly much-much more unlucky than you!" (Seuss 5). And within 48 pages that depicts everything one can imagine from treading through a slew of traffic to having to mow yards of grass that never ceases to stop growing.By the time the book ends, the old man once again advises Duckie, "Don't grumble! Don't stew! Some critters are much-much, oh, ever so much-much, so muchly much-much more unlucky than you!" (Seuss 48). And as with all of Seuss's books, if read as a child or an adult, his sentiments are indeed universal and may appeal to any reader who never stops wanting to understand or simply never stop wondering how things work or not.

Dr Seuss
Dr Seuss puts a new spin around A person feeling lucky / unlikely. The book inspires readers to realize just how lucky they really are.

Typical Dr. Suess, not as easy to read as some.
This is a fun story. A little difficult to read some of the names.

excellent book for any age with a great lesson
I am in my 20s and never had the chance to learn, read or hear books by Dr Seuss. However at this age, I was compelled to buy this book which tell you how much we have to be grateful for and we should be grateful for every little thing. I think it is a great mind opener for young children and a great reminder for adults. I love this books to bits. I would definitely recommend it. This not only teaches you to read, but gives rise to the love of poetry, playing with words and philosophy.

Poor service - shipped a damaged product
This book arrived defective / damaged, as per the images attached. Was obviously damaged before it was shipped, which is quite annoying. Won't be purchasing products from musicMagpie again.
