Great product
After replacing the original, worn-out bridge on my Gibson Les Paul with an aftermarket bridge (apparently meant for Epiphones, but it does the job), I was breaking my high-e string at every gig - usually by the end of the third song! (Yes, I'm a bit aggressive, but c'mon - only three songs?) I have had string-savers on my telecaster for about 10 years now, and they were a real game changer, so I decided to throw some on this guitar too - so far, so good. There was not a drastic tonal change, either, despite what the literature says - much appreciated!

Greatest invention since the guitar amplifier.
I mounted these into a 1997 Epiphone guitar I purchased used. I coupled these with a Graphtech nut and the duo makes a mediocre guitar come to life. The original owner had swapped the pickups with a Gibson in the neck and Duncans in the bridge as well as replaced the tuners and installed the Jimmy Page wiring mod for the knobs. I have had Gibson snobs tell me that my Epiphone isn't an Epiphone anymore because of the tones and the sustain I get from this beast. I highly recommend the saddles it does just what it says it will do. Awesome product.

So Far So Good
With the help of watching a couple YouTube videos, changing out the string saddles on my Epiphone Les Paul was rather simple. I took a picture of the bridge and the saddle positions before removing the old ones and replicated their relative positions using the new saddles. So I had to adjust the intonation on only two strings.I have to admit the tone of the guitar changed with a little less top end zing but it also sounds somewhat fuller. I haven't snapped a string since installing the new saddles, which is the reason why I decided to go with these in the first place. I used GraphTech saddles on other guitars in the past and when it comes to stopping broken strings, they do the trick.

Does not fit Epiphone B-2 bridge.
I had to file the shoulders down to make it fit. They work decently so far, but it took some work on my behalf altering each saddle by hand and measuring with calipers for consistency.I don't regret getting them, but I was certainly misled considering these things are not compatible with Epiphone B-2 bridges out of the box.

Game changer for import guitars
GraphTech saddles can really bring out the resonance in less expensive import guitarsThis helps compensate for the not so high quality wood A GraphTech nut along with the saddle will give you tone you can feel

Did not fit.
Did not fit Gibson LesPaul bridge. The screw holes were too high.

Have many graph tech saddles and nuts and a few bridges as well. One star deducted for the fact that i split one of these in half whilst installing them. Apparently im quite ham-fisted at times.
