Q: Can an extention length be added to increase the 3m supplied from the controller to the battery?

The product comes with crocodile clips so if you want to extend it, you could replace the length of cable coming from the controller on the back of the panel rather than trying to extend the connection from the crocodile clips.

Q: What amp is the Pre-installed controller? It doesn't say.

I really can't answer that but the conversion table on line says 100 watt equates to 8.333 amps /12 volt. We use it on our caravan and it keeps the charge up on the battery we are pleased with it and think it is value for money. Hope this helps

Haven’t used in wet weather, but controller is fixed to the back, which set out, would not really get wet. U could cover over controller lightly??. On the solar a really good buy, everything u need to charge your batteries up.

The cable is attached via two screw terminals. Don’t think or understand why the warranty would be affected.
