STARSKY & HUTCH: THE COMPLETE SERIES DVD

Great! Happy to have the series from my childhood.

Bought for someone whose primary pastime is watching TV, but cannot get many channels. He has an older computer, but this will allow him some variety

The Starsky and Hutch cds arrived in great shape. For easier accessibility you would have to put them in a cd holder. I think there is one flaw in the box they arrived in. The tab that closes the box is not sturdy enough to stay closed, especially with the weight of the cds. If you happen to turn the case upside down, I'm certain the cds would come flying out. The manufacturer needs to improve the flap that keeps the box closed.

You are not going to get 3888 minutes on a couple of dvd's unless you cut the quality down. That being said it comes in a box that has 8 sleeves and in each sleeve has two dvd's containing 4 episodes and each episode has like 4-5 chapters. there is a dvd menu where you can choose episodes. I was surprised on the quality of the picture itself and the audio is nice but for such an old show to hold so firmly. five stars because the quality to $ equation is high. currently at 20$ its a steal as the online purchase for amazon prime is 14$ a season. In all honesty I think the bad reviews are form people expecting to much. one guy mentioned a dvd was scratched and that i can imagine because the sleeves are not felt of of material that wont scratch the dvd's if not handled with care. seriously though who is buying this box set and not already old enough to know how to respect your stuff but with that being said check your dvd's for defects on arrival. I'm just about through the pilot and i'm freaking hooked. Starsky and hutch are freaking badass!

I was so happy to get the complete series. I loved this show as a teen - especially Starsky. I love remembering the old days - current times are too freaky.DVD was as described- fast shipment - great price. Thank you.

Box is slightly damaged. A disc is with scratch. Looks used.

One of the better cop shows for its time, wish they would make more shows like this one instead of all the garbage tat's on now, reality shows, the only thing real about them is that they're real humans. Not even one of the shows is for real, including Judge Judy and the rest of the court shows, they're done in a studio, the one with the long trucks, I recognized 0ne of the so called truck drivers who played a small role in one of the regular cop series no longer on TV.

I used to love this show when it was on TV back in the seventies. Used to watch it every week. Now I can watch it all over again. This dvd set is great, good quality and everything I remember about the show. Maybe the packaging could be a bit better (it's a bit on the cheap side, just a cardboard holder really) but who cares as long as the dvds are in good shape......

Endlich kann ich die ganze Serie schauen und das auch noch für wenig Geld. Was ich nicht so toll finde: es fehlte die Angabe zur Region. Und natürlich ist es Region1 (Man hätte es sich evtl. denken können, aber ich habe auch nichts gegen genaue Angaben). Da ichs über Umwege aber trotzdem schauen kann, behalte ich die Box. Diese ist übrigens anders ausgefüllt als gewohnt: jede DVD ist in einer einzelnen Papierhülle mit Sichtfenster und alle sind übereinander gestapelt. Weiß nicht ob mans bei der Menge auch anders hätte lösen können. Ab der 3ten DVD wirds sicher nervig. So weit bin ich aber noch gar nicht gekommen. Häng noch am Pilotfilm. Bei diesem fand ich den Ton arg leise, aber so ein richtiges Urteil möchte ich mir hier noch nicht erlauben. Bild sah soweit gut aus, aber auch das möchte ich jetzt nicht so genau bewerten.

The first order of the S&H DVD's (complete series) arrived with a damaged plastic DVD case...it would not snap shut on one side. I returned & re-ordered it, assuming I'd receive the same item with the casing intact. Instead, I received a cardboard case that lifts up from the top, allowing the bottom to fall out if you don't have your other hand there to support it. Also, the discs are jammed into a 2-sided piece of cardboard quite tightly...not sure if this will scratch the discs but they are difficult to remove. It's not as advertised. Had I have known THAT was my replacement, I would have kept the broken case! The only positive thing I can say is the 2nd shipment came very quickly...2 days after I made the order.

Although the later episodes weren't that great I still enjoy watching this series as it reminds me of when my life was quite enjoyable. This is my second set. The first set got worn out from being played too much.
