Alpatronix HX500 Review
I have had these a little over a month and I am extremely pleased with the overall quality and value these earbuds provide. The packaging for the headphones is nothing to speak of. It is nice, but you can tell where corners are cut. The same thing goes for the battery case. I work in manufacturing and I can spot all the things Alpatronix did to provide us the amazing value of these buds themselves. We don’t buy buds for the packaging and little details- we buy them for the everyday use. That is where Alpatronix put focus on and it is definitely noticeable. I agree with most of the reviews here so I will try to avoid repeating things, but I will put a few of my highlights.Pros:Sound Quality--- All I can really say is that these buds sound great! These buds can get very loud and not crack at the higher volumes. I listen to a lot of electronic music at the gym like techno, house, and drum and bass so bass is a big factor to me. These have the best bass I have heard from wireless buds. The highs and mids sound great for the price.Fitment--- These buds are no different than other ones by offering different pieces to provide you that perfect fit. After a few adjustments, they fit my ears perfectly and stay in even with vigorous activity. They may take an extra try or two to get them in the ear, but once they are in, they are in.Connectivity--- I have several wireless buds and they all have some odd connectivity issues. This is just normal with BT buds. I have had no issues yet which is amazing. I keep my phone on my right side always and some of my other buds have random connectivity issues which require me to restart them or move my phone to the other side of my body. These headphones stay connected no matter what I am doing. I love it.Con:“End of life” Connection--- One problem I experienced is that when the battery is extremely low on the case, the buds to not disconnect when they are placed back into the charging case. Because the buds were still connected to my phone after I put them away, I missed a few phone calls. Not a huge deal, but there was no mention of this in the guide. Now that I know this can happen, I just have to pay closer attention to my phone after I put these back in the case to avoid that again. I emailed Alpatronix about this so hopefully it gets addressed in future headphones. Some other wireless buds I have similar to this do not do that.Even with the one con I have with these, I have to give them 5/5. I am beyond pleased with these buds. I was expecting them to be decent, but it surpassed my expectations. Also, their customer service is fantastic. I had an issue with something unrelated to the product and they took care of me quickly (thanks Brandy A.).These are just really great buds for the money!

Nice system, good audio, and typical battery life.
It is a very good set of earbuds. Good audio quality, good battery life, easy and fast connection to iPhone.Audio quality is pretty good, with good base, but not excessive. Pretty good treble and midrange. Overall the sound is pretty balanced and decent. No hiss or noise during quiet passages in music. I have not suffered drop outs even with the iPhone at 20 feet or so away, even with walls in between. Pairing and connecting to an iPhone was fast and easy. The wing tips might be a little large for small to medium ears. The wingtips are part of a wrap around plastic that can be swapped for one that has no wing tips. I prefer the no wingtips. But on heavy exercise and movements, the wingtips certainly hold it well in place in your ear. The set also includes three different size of earbuds to accommodate different size ear canals. They work well to block out outside noise. The battery life is about 2-3 hours. You store them in a case that also has a battery that tops them off. The case is pretty solid and easy to open. The case has one indicator light that blinks when charging. The number of blinks indicate the state of charge of the case battery. The earbuds also have on indicator light. When you place them on the case, the number of blinks indicate the state of the battery, similar to the case. If you do not use them for a couple of weeks, the case and earbuds loose their charge. This is typical of other similar "true" wireless earbuds. A five minutes of charge is enough to get you 30 minutes play time. Charge time is about an hour.Once you take them out of the case, they pair with your phone and you hear "Connected." Then left earbud states "left channel" and right earned states "right channel." So you know you put them on correctly. The center of each earbud is a button. I find it a little hard to find the exact spot. It is the area that is soft rubber instead of hard plastic. But many times I feel I am pressing at the wrong spot. It takes me a little more force than I would want to press it. To press it, I feel like it is jamming the earbud in my ear. This is what prevents me from giving it full 5 star review. The button can be used to answer a call and play. Double pressing the button allows for next track or declining a call. During a call, double clicking it, transfers the call back to the phone. Triple pressing the button gets you the previous song. Holding it down for one second activates Siri. The description here shows wireless charging, but it does not charge on my Qi-certifired charger that charges my iPhone. The documentation does not mention wireless charging. The system includes 1 year warranty. On the first couple of weeks, if you send an email to Alpatronix to register them, they claim to extend the warranty to two years.
