Excellent, just understand what you're buying
After buying a Camel+Taupe 80x90 inch blanket ( https://www.amazon.com/Catalonia-Waterproof-Reversible-Furniture-Protector/dp/B084GN77JM/ ) I waited a few months to make this review.TL:DR is that it's excellent and that I think shoppers might benefit from clarification of what they're buying. The Review:Have used nightly for 3 months on my bed with an elderly incontinent doggie who sleeps on top of my blankets. She's had two accidents in that time and each time the urine was trapped on the outer layer and everything underneath was perfectly dry. So 100% score on working as advertised. For me the 80x90 is a great size to cover a USA full-size (aka double) bed with good overhang. Also I sweat a lot in the early morning but this blanket was no worse for it than the comforter it replaced. Also in those 3 months I've machine washed it 3 times with great success and no loss to water-proof-ness that I can tell. I used cool water, gentle cycle. The first time I carried the washed wet blanket outside and sun-dried it - it was heavy. The second time I air-dried it in the drier. The third time I dried it in the drier on Low Gentle cycle. In all cases it washed and dried just fine. Of course sun-dry took longest and Low Gentle machine dry was fastest. Machine drying collected 99% of the shed dog hair. I'll probably keep machine drying on Low Gentle while keeping track of water proofing. The Clarification:Think of this blanket as two lightweight fleece/micro-fiber blankets bonded with an internal sheet of very flexible plastic between. It's NOT "water repellent" like some reviewers seem to think: liquid does not bead up on TOP of the first layer. The top layer holds liquid and the internal sheet of plastic keeps everything underneath dry. And the outer layers are regular fleece/micro-fiber - they have nothing that repels dog hair, so hair stays there until you clean it.10/10 would buy again(October) Edit to add:After using for an additional 3 months, washed in cool water gentle cycle, dried in the drier on low gentle cycle several times, still looks great works great. 10/10 would buy again

Very soft and durable as a pet-protecting couch cover
My family--human and canine--all love this soft yet sturdy blanket which drapes easily over my couch, stays where it is put, and cleans easily in the washer and dryer. I have only had the cover for a short time but already expect to get more for our loveseat and chair.

Not easy to wash and dry but works perfectly
Kept my two girlfriends from destroying my bed. Absorbs very well. But washing is easy. Drying not so much. But we’ll worth the money and works amazing.

Waterproof but difficult to wash - would not recommend to pet owners
I purchased the micro fleece version of this blanket in the camel/taupe color (80x90 size) hoping to have a blanket to cover my sofa since my two dogs sneak on it when I'm not in the room. My dogs don't have accidents in the house but they do shed (German Shepherd hair especially). I was hoping to find a blanket that would not attract dog hair and that I could wash once a week, the water proof feature was a bonus I thought. The blanket has quality construction, has a nice feel and great "match-all" neutral colors.I was very pleased with it at first. After using it awhile I noticed it seemed to hold on to dog hair and odor even though my dogs don't have a strong dog odor, I smelled it on the blanket. Once it comes out of the washing machine it is very heavy, it holds on to so much water that it is to wet and heavy to put it in the dryer. I had to drape it over a fence outside to dry one side then turn it over to dry the other side in the sun. I also noticed that it held on to the dog hair even after it went through the wash (see pictures).Overall this is a nice blanket until you have to wash it. I would not recommend it to other pet owners looking for a washable, hair free pet blanket. I finally threw it away after 4 months and purchased a satin-type fiber blanket that did not hold on to dog hair and went through the wash more easily. Maybe this blanket would work underneath a more washable blanket for people looking for that added spill protection.

Fully protects the couch from all liquids
This blanket protects our couch fromAll liquids and nothing has ever soaked through the only down fall is it takes forever to dry after it’s been washed. But I still highly recommend it if you have kids, dogs, or an active sex life.

Put this on our bed that our cat kept peeing on but not regularly. Since putting this on the bed she has stopped.

Works great !
I got these for my recently diagnosed diabetic dog. When his sugar is off, he leaks. Nothing major but it saves my bedding. Washes great, true to size and soft.

DO NOT BUY
I am disgusted beyond belief at this product. I recently spent $5,000 on new sofas and bought two of these blankets due to the fact that I have an anxious cat who had a past stress-related bladder inflammation two years ago causing him to pee in places other than the litter box and I wanted to be cautious in case it happened again, and it did. He suffered a second bout this month and I found out that these did nothing to stop the urine from soaking through into my sofa cushions. They're basically over-priced blankets falsely advertised as waterproof. How do I even go about getting compensation for this let alone my money back???
