I bought this car from amazon and had to send it back because the remote didn't work. They emailed me shortly after I bought it just to see if I was satisfied. Great customer service on their part. I told them what happened and they sent me another at no extra cost. Awesome! The least I could do is review it.So when they sent me the replacement, I took itout and put in the batteries. All seemed to be in order. I put it on the floor to give it a go and it kept going to the right. I'm like "what!" They sent me another only for it to be defective! I calmed down a bit and looked it over. To my surprise, there is a thing that resembles a sun dial between the the 2 front tires. The dial was leaning to the right. I used my nails then used a butter knife cause it's kinda hard to move. I didn't know it did move at first, I just tried it. I centered the dial between the l and r and problem solved. I'm like "ok, that's better."The car is pretty fast. The controls are responsive. It does really well on smooth surfaces. We have hard wood in some areas. Not so well on carpet though. It will go, but slowly and if the carpet is to thick, forget it.The kids had a blast with it and like to drive it in the dark so they could have the light effect. They're pleased, I'm pleased.Like i said, it's a nice car and fun to play with. Remember to check the dial if it doesn't drive straight at first.

Purchased this little fun car for my grandson’s 2nd Birthday. He absolutely loves it! It took only a short time for him to figure out how to use it. He’s only 2 but did really well controlling it. He used it on the hard floor in the house. His biggest problem was keeping his older siblings from taking it while his back was turned. His 4 year old brother took off with It & played on the back yard patio. His 12 year old sister gabbed it & ran it up & down the sidewalks & driveway. Birthday boy ran up to me both times & said “Grammy..it’s really not fair ..it’s my beep-beep!” ..& I fully agreed. The kids loved all the lights & how the car zipped around. Make sure you screw the antenna tightly into the remote. I don’t know if the car turns itself off by itself if not in use. I expect I’ll see the car again when it needs batteries. It held up well to all the play it got on the day given. I feel I already got my money’s worth!

UPDATE: Haktoys sent me a replacement really fast, sorry for not updating fast but the new car arrived fast and it works perfectly. Seriously, thanks a lot for taking care of your customers.I knew that I shouldn't set high expectations for a 15 dollar toy, but I honestly didn't think it was going to work properly for only a day. My daughter was set on it so I bought it and now I regret it. The toy started losing power and it would struggle to move, I tried brand new batteries and the problem persisted. When I contacted the seller they referred me to write a review instead of helping me so here we are.If you are looking to throw away fifteen dollars maybe you might want to throw them into a wishing well and wish for a decent rc car.

Took them way longer to deliver the toys than they promised during the purchase. You can buy much bigger cars for $10-$15 less at target.

I love these and ordered 3_for my granddaughters, ages 4, 8, & 10. They LOVED them but ran into unexpected problems.Trying to race them together, their remotes began controlling one another's cars - even when separated a floor apart!!! They had to play separately one at a time, which stole some of the fun, but that wasn't the major issue.The cars kept slowing, stalling or only flowing well backwards, but not forwards. I noticed the little white tab between the R & L turns on the bottom was missing, so we searched until finding and replacing it, only to notice it didn't really change anything ... This happened in two of the cars.I changed all 6 batteries and they're still stalling way too much, not always going forward or turning while trying to go forward. The wheels flip back &forth, but only proceed in reverse??? The girls hope to try again in the carport once winter temps lighten up.When working as designed, these cars are a lot of fun and would have been the favorite toy with the girls if not for these issues.QUESTION: Is that little white steering tab supposed to be removed, or stay in. The two cars without it are now steering better (only on bare floor) than the car that still has in in place.(I ordered 2, my daughter ordered 1 so there’s 3)

As a collector of RC buses, I was excited when I saw this one, and even sent for two of them. However, I was a bit disappointed when they arrived. It looks really good in the pictures, but the actual product struck me as rather low quality. I opened the first one, and it does work pretty nicely, but still feels not all that well-made. Then I tried out the second one, and the front wheels don't respond to the remote, so I couldn't make it turn. I sent that one back and decided to just get a refund instead of a replacement because I just don't feel it was worth getting a second one, since the quality is just not there. I highly recommend the RC city bus by Double Eagle (usually sold here at Amazon by Fisca Trade) instead. I have several of these and they have opening doors, sounds, and the attention to detail is fantastic, right down to the double wheels on the back! But if you're just looking for an adequate RC bus at a low price, this one might be right for you.

*Edit July 29, 2018After my original review, this wonderful company reached out to me multiple times and offered to send me a new car, free of charge. This kind of customer service is amazing and rare. My 4 y/o grandson was very happy to see the new car arrive a few days later.The replacement worked much better than the original item. The controls worked well and it was much faster. I changed my rating from 3 stars to a well deserved 5 star based on both the item and the excellent customer service. My grandson loves this car and the lights make it fun in the darkThis is a cute car. The lights are awesome but it seems like reverse only works when "it feels like it".

The media could not be loaded. Powerful and speed is amazing beside this it's low price and light weight . It's cool that lights are also bright. I bought it for my son but I drove it a lot :) Remote control also worked fine. I like this product.

This was a gift for my nephew but it arrived on time. It was as advertised and works well!

this is a terrible purchase. Bought it for my great grand son, runs for a couple minutes the stops. wheels turn but car won,t move. I was going to return it but he is 3 years old and cried when i took it away.
