Extreme price hike by Amazon for this product
I purchased a 1 gallon jug of this AC Delco Dexron VI in Feb. 2016 for just over $23. Amazon now charges over $46 for the same thing in May of 2016. Amazing price hike in just 3 months! I used this fluid (Dexron VI) in my 96 Corvette along with a new pan (w/drain plug) all new solenoids, new TCC lock-up switch & Trans-go shift kit. Major improvement with these items installed. Torque converter clutch no longer locks and unlocks incessantly between 50 and 55 miles an hour. I think the fresh transmission fluid was a big help. I wanted to drain and fill the transmission again, and came to Amazon to buy the fluid. When I saw the price hike, I purchased it at Walmart instead. The transmission seems to shift better (and no more problems w/the torque converter clutch) after the second drain and fill w/Dexron VI. I would buy Dexron VI again, but not at double the price Amazon wants to charge.

Great price for genuine Dexron VI
Works great, Dex VI fluid at a good price! This was significantly cheaper than any Dexron VI I could find at any of the local stores. It may not be the best buy if you just need a quart to top off existing fluid, etc., but if you are flushing or changing the fluid it gets expensive quick.Dexron VI is a specification for the fluid, so this should work as well as any other Dex VI fluid. You have to make sure you're getting actual Dex VI though, some other brands market fluids that are "Dexron compatible" without actually showing that they meet the same specs. Transmission fluid isn't something you change that often and it shouldn't be something you're needing to top off much either so I think it's well worth it to put proper fluid in and not just cheap out and go for the Dex III or generic.Any newer GM car/truck will probably require this. According to GM, it is also backwards compatible so you can safely "upgrade" the fluid in any older car that was using Dex III.

2012 Silverado 2500 HD fluid change WOW!
Bought 6 of these to do a DIY cooler line flush (removes all of the fluid without a flush machine or chemicals) in my 2012 Silverado. Truck only has 45,000 miles and after exchanging all of the old fluid I was blown away by how smooth this thing shifts now! Dexron VI is a far superior fluid to the one superceedes and no longer licensed Dexron III. I still prefer to change my ATF every 30k. This accomplishes superior cleanliness which equates to transmissions that last a LONG time. Funny how people think transmissions rarely ever need service, but cry and moan that they are a POS when they haven't spent a dime to change the fluid EVER! Anyway, AC DELCO DEXRON VI is licensed and is an amazing bargain here on Amazon if you happen to drive a GM vehicle or any that spec a Dex VI fluid.**pics are left to right 1.) BEFORE flush 2.) AFTER flush.

Top quality product, USA company, and known excellent parts.... what more could you ask for?
This is ACDelco..... how can you go wrong?! I have used this fluid for some time in several vehicles now. Good product, very high quality, and the price is also better than most others! If you are going to flush your transmission, I recommend this and a couple of qts to get the job done right. The ACDelco kit that goes for your own vehicles Trans is a must have to keep it simple, and to have the exact right parts and fitting gaskets for the job! Enjoy.

Container Issue
So while the actual fluid is fine the issue for this product lies in the container. At the opening to the bottle they have molded in a Vent that I am sure helps with a smooth pour when pouring it out of the container. Issue is it blocks you from using many of the fluid pumps available on the market because it does not allow you to center the pump in the opening to thread it down. So pumps like Custom Accessories 36671 Pennzoil Fluid Transfer Pump - Gallon won't work. It can go on the bottle you just cannot secure it. Makes for hard pumping when you are under a vehicle. So have some clean gallon containers on hand that will fit your fluid pump if you need to utilize one for your application and transfer the contents over.

It is trans fluid, what more can I say ...
It is trans fluid, what more can I say. Sealed as it should be seems to be what it claims & the price is unbeatable at what I paid for it.

Great price for Dexron VI fluid
It's amazing that Amazon sells this for under $23 a gallon with free Prime shipping. Name brand Dexron VI usually runs $7-9 a quart at the local auto parts store. This is quite a bit cheaper, and despite the shipping weight ends up on your doorstep. I bought 2 gallons to do a pan drop fluid change on a 4T65-E.Update 4/24/15: I did the fluid change. The car is running just fine and shifting great. The fluid is every bit as good as the Valvoline and Castrol Dex VI I've used previously based on initial impression and I don't expect any problems later on because Dexron VI is a licensed formula where every brand must formulate it to meet the same spec.
