The face and band are classy enough to wear for dress, but subdued enough for casual.My only complaint is that I would have liked radium or tritium paint on the dial and the second and minute hand instead of the satin white paint.The movement is precise and quiet. The white paint on the hour and minute have provide enough contrast to tell time by in most brighter lighting conditions. The paint is not radium or tritium, and so does not glow in the dark, making it difficult to tell time in dim lighting.The larger font HUGO logo is raised silver and the much smaller font HUGO BOSS is white to match the hour marks. The second hand is only really visible in brighter lighting.The technical specifications listed on this page indicate both a 30m and 50m approximate water resistance. The approximate 30m value is the correct approximate value.As shipped, the band flopped around on my wrist. The band has arrows pointing to the places to push the pins in to remove a link from the band. The pins are the split kind, like a cotter pin. Be sure not to push from the open end, which resembles a slotted head screw, and instead to push only from the arrow side. When reinstalling the pins, be sure to place them in the same orientation as they were in when removed. After removing one link, the watch band fits snug, but not too tight.I haven't worn it enough to verify the scratch resistant face claims, not have I worn it long enough to rate the durability of the Ion Plating (IP) black coating. This is a Physical Vapor Deposition (PVD) process, and I'm not sure of the thickness or hardness.The watch seems to be keeping time accurately despite three falls onto a tile floor from a bar counter height table. There was no noticable structural, functional, or cosmetic damage after any of the falls.

I recommend to take a real price for good quality. I see no reason to overpay for any kind of promoted brand, since everything is completely fine, I can’t rejoice in it))
