The Sarqit One Brick Blacksmith Forge is an easy to use and highly efficient propane gas forge system, perfect for forging knives, knife making, heat treating, as well as tool smithing, and general blacksmith needs. The One brick forge is simple to setup with either a Propane torch or MAPP Gas torch. When properly used the heat retention efficiency of this forge can quickly bring metal up to critical temperature. The one brick forges are by far easier to get going and clean up. Size: The forges are 9" long, 4 3/4" tall, and 3 1/8" wide. (9x4.75x3.125) The heat chamber is 9" x 3" x 1 1/8" Open Ended: The back of the Forge is open which allows for a project of any length. Some heat will be lost but this design is still more efficient than larger forges. Placing a brick against the back of the forge effectively closing the end. Package Contains: - Forge and Torch: The better torch the more efficient the brick forge will be. We recommend the use of a swivel torch like a Benzomatic TS99 torch. You will need to get (not included): - Stand: a simple stand for this forge is a U.S. standard cinder block (16 in × 8 in × 8 in). A second one can be used as a forge backing. - Propane: 1lb propane bottle or a 20lb or larger bottles with hose adaptor
