the mini is really mini
I ordered the mini's. They are well built, and stronger than I would have guessed. They do not come with screws. This really needs a template for optimal screw placement.Other than that, these are great.

cute little latch for repairing blow-mold tool cases
these little latches are adorable! They were the perfect size and sturdiness to replace the broken plastic crap that everyone uses on blow-mold tool cases.secured these with 1/8"x3/8" rivets; they fit perfect.this could have been perfect if the vendor included a small template that shows the optimum placement of the two pieces for latch engagement. In truth I might have used it instead of starting with the drill and guessing.

Works ok, but the springs don't really help.
I bought these to use on paper towel dispensers so I could throw away the key lock. The issue that I have is that I though the springs were there to provide some tension on the latch so you didn't have to install the two pieces at an exact distance. The spring on holds the latch down and makes it harder to install because you have to hold the latch up against the spring tension to access the holes.Installation requires a 3/4" distance from the holes on the clasp to the first hole of the latch. This is not mentioned anywhere on the product page.I cut the spring with a small set of nippers to make the installation easier and if I ever need more, I get ones without springs.

These ARE tiny but solid
They are exactly as described. Mini. The springs are strong enough, don’t let them snap back on your finger! (Ask me how I know)yes as others have mentioned the mounting hardware needs to be mini as well or they will have issues. A pop rivet, or small pan head will do fine.

Needs screws
For the price, they are cute little latches. I figured no problem finding screws to use. I got some recommended by another user with flat heads but they still stuck out too far for the latch to lay in the hook. I had to clamp all of the tiny pieces in a vice to drill out the holes (5 per latch) so the flat head would sink just far enough for the latch to grasp and close. For just one, not a big deal, but to drill out holes on 10 of them significantly cuts into project time. This time combined with the separate cost of the screws may have you reconsider spending a little more for latches sold with screws that function well with the set up. Or maybe the manufacturer will include appropriate screws in the future.

Perfect
These are perfect for what we needed. We have a professional stove by Thor which has terrible hinges and we were told it was actually also a problem in the original design of the range. If we wanted to fix the problem of the oven doors not staying shut we would need to replace the frame as well as the hinges … a job which would end up costing nearly half what the range itself cost. Repairman didn’t think it was worth it and recommended just getting a chair to hold the doors shut … this was our innovative solution and it has worked wonderfully! It is nice to have the extras just in case these break over time and frequent use but they are not flimsy or weak in any way. Very happy with the purchase and function.

Smaller than I thought
Overall, they are good, but they were a bit smaller than I expected. They work fine.

No fasteners supplied.
These work fine for most applications, but come without any way to fasten them to your project. I suppose that depends on the surface on which you want to apply them. Maybe pop rivets for metal or wood screws for wood.
