Earthquake Sound SWS-8Xi 8-inch Shallow Woofer System Under-the-Seat Subwoofer, 2-Ohm (Single)

Simply replacing the stock subs in a Hi-Fi system makes a huge difference. Now subbas is present even without adjustments in bass menu. Finally I'm enjoying my car's sound!

I paired these up with the JL Audio xd600/6 crossed at 120 hz and it is pure audio bliss. The bass is thick and rich. Is not club style throbbing bass for EDM, but for rock, funk, disco, soul, it is excellent— tight, articulate and powerful. Everybody who I demonstrate my car audio comments on how clear and tight it sounds and I get immense enjoyment from listening to it every day. The only thing to be aware of is that as other people have commented, you need to be prepared to creatively make the area on top of the subwoofer provide an inch or so more clearance for the subwoofer to move back-and-forth without hitting the grill. I accomplished this by putting a piece of wood as a spacer on the two sides of each subwoofer and then getting extra long 2 inch screws to screw the grill back in. It is completely not noticeable after closing everything up because this area ends up being entirely under the seat.

"Almost" a drop-in sub for my BMW. Just had to shave a few items down in order for them to fit. Simple enough though. No real cutting or drilling to make these work. Good Stuff!

Installed this on my bmw i4. Great quality sub. Easy install . Sounds way way better than stock . I can hear some bass in my system. I have the HK system in my car. Can't give this sub enough props!

The rings that come with it are made of cheap fiberboard and break really easily. What a waste of time

I have a 2018 BMW X3 with HiFi sound. I have replaced the sub and hoping it will be a big improvement but not by much. You can tell the bass is better and didn't bottom out at louder volume. With the money i spend, I can get a bigger sub and amp. So for the under seat sub, it is not bad but I would recommend getting a real sub and box, it will sound a lot better.

Great sub for bmw cars, no modifications required with the adapters. . It has the best punchy bass compared to other shallow 8" for bmw underseat enclosures, but it lacks the midbass that other brands have. Excellent choice if you don't want a dedicated 10-12" sub in the trunk, not so good if you absolutely must have a dedicated sub in the trunk. Don't cross these subs higher than ~130hz. This is the 2ohm model which means you can have two of these wired together at 4ohm or 1ohm total load to amplifier. Excellent for bimmertech amp/dsp because it has a dedicated wire to each sub and it plays louder at 2ohm load / each.

This subwoofer sounds great. It has a lot of bass and one would think I have 10 or 12's in the trunk. But with any BMW if you do not have ski pass-through or fold down rear seats you can not hear a sub in the trunk to well. This is the best design under the seat. I have it connected to a JL AUDIO XD4004/4 . Getting the sub enclosure out from under the seat was a pain because the carpet is so thick with sound deadening. You also have to cut some of the inside of the sub enclosure it is plastic and all you really have to is grab it with a pair of pliers and twist it off you do not need a dremel. So happy to have made the upgrade, now i can finally feel the bass in my seat. Most definitely worth it.
