That Extra Internal space makes all the difference - Very Nice Home Threater Mini PC
So, a while ago I purchased one of the other "Mini PCs" From ACEPC. Overall , I was quite impressed with it and it works very well for the application that I brought it for. The only drawback was that it only had 32gb internal memory , which meant with the Windows 10 update taking up a good slice of that , it was always a bit tight on space on the internal built in drive. When I saw that ACEPC had a NEW model out - The GK2 , and that it had DOUBLE the internal storage at 64gb , I just had to order one , as I have been thinking about building a Home Theater PC for a while and this unit would save me a lot of messing around , as it has a decent spec processor , is small enough to fit direct onto the back of my TV - They supply a small VESA metal bracket to make this easy. with this model doing 60fps at 4K , and accepting a USB Bluray drive , it will fulfill my needs very nicely , without costing an arm and a leg , and having to buy a Copy of Win 10 into the bargain.I wont bore everyone with the specs of this unit as they are in the product details , but with the 4gb of Ram , Gigabit Network , Dual Band AC Wifi. I am sure it will Run the Kodi media center very well. It does have the space inside the case (access by a pop off flap in the top of the unit) for a 2.5" Sata hard drive. But in my case I don't think I will be using this , as I plan to connect the unit directly to my Home Network. The Unit Does have a fan on the bottom , that is on all the time , but I although it is noticeable , I would not describe it as "loud" but it is on all the time and does not seem to vary in volume.Once I have installed the Kodi Media Center and have everything all up and running , I will update this review , on how well it all performs. But based on the other ACEPC products I have seen , I cannot see me having too many issues , esp now there is double the onboard storage. To me, that is the KEY feature of this unit. Overall a decent made unit , with decent features at a decent price for the job I want it to do. Would have been nice it were made of a metal construction , but have to confess , its been running a good few hours today and its quite cool.

Noisy
The original unit I received had an unbearably irritating fan. ACEPC promptly replaced it but there is not a discernible difference. The tiny ACEPC fan is more audible (and more irritating) than my primary PC which has 2two 120 mm water cooler fans and two120mm case fans. One problem is the pitch of the noise, which is high. Otherwise, the PC is impressive for the cost, functionality, and speed. Its not speedy but for light duty desktop computing or as a home theater PC its fine for only twice the cost of an OEM copy of Windows 10. It would be nice if there was a Windows 10 Pro upgrade option. I intended to use it as a home theater PC but the fan noise may be a deal breaker. Still undecided whether or not to return it.

Wow, its worth it (except one issue) UPDATED REVIEW
my need was HTPC and ROBLOX game. I took chance as i was skeptical about game this thing will play. I got best SSD (64 GB) hence great speed. Playing netflix or huge gb files from NAS is flawless. Playing roblox is smooth. Lots of ports, slot of extra ssd and micro sd. what else you need. if your need is simple this is the guy.Only one con is since it does not have any major graphics card, the screen edges goes beyond my 40 inches LCD TV. With earlier laptop, i could manage this with nvidia graphic properties - adjust screen size. so beware.Great buyUPDATE for customersWhen ROBLOX game is played it crashes. Hence no use for me.Next update where I was talking about an issue about graphics issue of edges going beyond screen is not an issue of this PC, I adjusted my tv settings it got resolved. This PC is not for games, even of ROBLOX kind, but for htpc, its great.

Good mini pc with a good price
This is the first time I purchased the mini pc and I am really satisfied with it. It’s thin and lightweight, so I can easily take it with me everywhere. I don’t need the super fast as long as I can do the basic web browsing, checking emails and document editing, but this one is beyond all my needs. It’s small but powerful. Mine is 4GB+64GB, and it’s only spend me around $200. I think this is a really good price for this mini pc

Unreliable
The PC booted right up and started downloading Windows updates immediately. It had some cheap plastic, but I was hoping the other components would be reliable anyway. And, it worked well enough for a few weeks. Then, it just stopped. It was hooked up to a power surge strip, and the power supply was still working. The PC did absolutely nothing, so it was returned. Fortunately it died within 30 days.

Runs Autocad
I like that is very small and quiet. The peripheral connections on the unit are tight and feel very solid with a good snap or click when you insert the connections. I bought it to hopefully run Autocad Fusion 360 and it does this very well. No problems at all. Glad I bought it. ACEPC seems like a very good brand. All their products have very high ratings throughout their product line. Itboots up very fast and 64 gigs of storage is more than enough for a workstation.
