Genuine part. Arrived with appropriate seals and fitting instructions. Really easy to fit. Make sure you run at least 20 litres before using it for drinking water.

Water has become foul tasting
I wished to replace the original Bristan filter cartridge which came with the tap package. This filter looks genuine enough, but since having it installed (by the plumber) our water has become increasingly foul tasting. Curiously it's quite drinkable as soon as poured, but if left for a short while develops this awful taste. Perhaps the manufacturer would like to contact me to arrange a replacement or a refund.
