TopeakMini 20 Pro Mini Tool (Silver)

This tool is very well-made - you can feel the quality. It's also incredibly small - 1.5 inches wide and just under 3 inches long, smaller than a credit card, and about a half inch thick. The weight is 153gm or 5.4 ounces.I always carry a multi tool when I ride, I even took my bike completely apart, cleaned it and put it back together using my little 8-function tool. But it's really old and has 8 tools. This one weighs only a few grams more than my old one, and has 20 tools, including a chain tool. I never thought I needed a chain tool until I was on a group ride in the country, not close to a bike shop, and one of the group had his chain break. He fixed his chain and was back on the road in no time at all.I haven't used the chain tool on the road yet, but the guys at my LBS gave me an old piece of chain to play with. It's not quite as easy as the Youtube videos make it look, I wished I had longer piece to hold on to for more leverage, but I feel confident I can repair my chain on the road if it should break.The one thing I can't figure out on this tool is the tire lever - to me it is a useless addition to an otherwise perfect tool - it's got to be heavy, it's made of metal, and could damage a rim. I would recommend carrying plastic levers, don't rely on this metal one.

I was mortified when my trusty Topeak Mini 18 fell out of my open bag on an evening commute home, I didn't stop in time to locate it, and it was gone for good. I searched high and low for a suitable replacement, and it became clear that only another Topeak would fit the bill. I was seduced by the sexy looks of the all-silver Mini 20, and it does not disappoint in person. It's compact, relatively light for the number of tools it has, and as I said, very sexy. My only small gripe is the ubiquitous 5mm hex key is just a little difficult to extract from the folded position on this tool. Other than that, I couldn't ask for a better mini bike tool. This has a plethora of tools to get you home from almost any mechanical jam you can think of. Well done, Topeak!

nice quality and build. Sturdy construction, not too heavy, many uses. The chain tool is extra nice, and even has a broken chain hold-together gizmo so you don't have to fiddle with the broken chain and hold both ends while trying to fix it.

Really good multi-tool. Compact and fits inside a compact fabric case.

So this review is based on looking over the tools. I did not feel that the chain tool would be very easy to use on the trail , which I felt would be one of the essentials for a repair on the trail. I do carry "separate allen wrenches" and felt these would still give me better leverage than the tool itself. Nice construction though.

Habe dieses Tool am MTB und am Renner in der Satteltasche. Für jede kleine Reparatur ist dies optimal. Da hat bei der Entwicklung jemand mitgedacht!

After checking out lots of alternative multi tools for cycle use I choose this model. It seemed to have everything you would need at a sensible price. Its a quality piece of kit, very well made and seems very strong. Its a big plus having the chain tool removable from the main body of the tool itself. I checked all the fixings on my Cannondale road bike and it seems there is a tool on the Mini 20 to fit everything you are likely to need to attend to while out on a ride. I do wonder why tool companies still use "Phillips" crosshead screwdrivers when virtually all crosshead screws are Pozidrive style these days. I guess there must be a reason. Anyway everything works just fine and I would thoroughly recommend it. Good value.

Great, I've had one of these for years but lost out on the trails (if anyone finds out at Dalby then I'd like it back). First thing I did when I got back was order a new one. However I wish it had a more secure pack than a single Velcro strap

Das Tool ist sehr klein und hat trotzdem alle wichtigsten Werkzeuge für eine kleine Fahrradreperatur unterwegs. Ein Stern Abzug gibt's, weil die Einzelwerkzeuge nicht arretiert werden können.
