Pumpkin orange is accurate. Great filament!
This wasn't as dark of an orange as I was expecting, but overall it was good. I printed a Chibi Chocobo. As with the other 3D Hero filaments, the accuracy was within the advertised 0.02mm. I measured near the beginning, and then unwinded the roll a few times and measured again. The diameters measured were 1.74 and 1.75, as you can see in the pics. The vacuum job on this was AMAZING, just like their other rolls. Additionally, they include a pack of desiccant, and an "Inspected by" tab, which seems to indicate there is some decent quality control taking place. That's a nice touch.I do love the box for the filament. It has a viewing window so you can see what color it is without having to open the box. The plastic that is used to seal the roll is also a bit thicker than the rolls of filament I get from other suppliers. That's a good thing. My other filament suppliers tends to get tears in the bag which leads to the vacuum to be lost. This doesn't have that problem. When I first started the print, I thought it was a very light orange. Almost pale. But as the the print continued it came out a bit more orange. There was absolutely no stringing, and I didn't see any under or overextrusion anywhere in the print. The print was made on a MeCreator 2 using S3D. Print settings:Nozzle temp: 205Bed temp: 60Layer Height: 0.2mmSpeed: 60mm/secondNozzle Size: 0.4mmBottom layers (thickness): 4 layers (0.8mmm)Top layers thickness): 4 layers (0.8mm)Perimeters (Wall thickness): 2 (0.8mm)Supports: The model already had supports modeled into it.There was a slight sweet smell from the printer while it was printing. This is normal for PLA, as its corn based. I printed the Chocobo on my MeCreator 2 on a print surface. There was absolutely no lifting...but I've never had lifting issues with PLA with or without the print surface.

Quality gold PLA and a very good price
Full disclosure, I was offered reimbursement of the cost of a roll of 3d Hero Filament in return for a review though there were no limits/requirements put on me for the review and I would not do it if there were. These are my own honest observations and opinions. The pictured prints used 3d Hero Gold PLA ($18.99/kg) and have had no post processing and were done on an Ender 3 with a .4mm nozzle, .2 mm layer height, 60c bed temp, printing temps from 200c to 220c and print speeds from 60-70mm/s.Printing was smooth and without issues. The initial layer went on smooth with no adhesion issues. I varied the printing temperature on the vase from 200 to 220 and back to 200 during the print and saw no noticeable difference in appearance. Printing the dragons with some filaments leads to stringing between the wings and legs but with this filament at 200-205c I just had some very fine wispy strings that were remove easily (they are still there in the pictures). You can see some lines in the dragons that happened when I changed the print temperatures but other that that they printed smoothly. The only issue I see with the prints I believe are related to print speed and I see these with any filament I use so do not think it has anything to do with this particular product (these issues are most apparent on the larger of the two dragons).Color wise I would say the color looks to me like a golden brown mustard color. It is a good looking gold color though generally I prefer a glossy gold but it really depends on what I am printing.Overall I would say this is a very good quality filament and would highly recommend it.

Grey PLA
3D Hero filaments the accuracy was within the advertised and vacuum with desiccant. I noticed that there was a tangle in the spool. I unwound few winds and then rewound the filament on spool . After that loaded and had no problems after that. I really like how the have viewing window so you can see what color it is buy quite a few. I do like the vacuum bag is thicker as long shipping trips to me sometimes on thinner ones can be ripped.I been looking for a grey and this was the right color nice and light.I tested on my CR10/Ender 3/Anycubic MEGA-SNozzle temp: 215Bed temp: 60/50With tangle in the being still have to say for the price it is great value!

Definitely recommend!
I originally bought this filament to use for printing out lithophanes. The color saturation is a little light for my taste on lithophanes but it works great on models that I build. This T-REX was done using the Hero 3D white filament and as you can see from the pics, it has great layers and adhesion. I have used several other colors of their filaments and have had great results from every one of them so far. I definitely recommend Hero 3D for both the quality and the price because they are better than some higher priced brands that I have tried.

Good Filament Good Price
This filament printed very good. I used my normal pla temp of 220 and did have a little stringing. I lowered the temp to 217 and seemed to fix the stringing. Other then that I had no problems event during a 24 hour print. I used 2 different printers a direct drive modified cr-10 and a bowden modified Anet A8 and printed fine on both printers. The color are very nice. And the finish of the plastic was shiny from both printers. Did have some warping but that was due to bad 1st layer on my part. All in all I'd say this is a good filament at a good price.
