Great for Men, Too!
There aren't a lot of products for pregnant men on the market yet. There should be, even though it's a relatively slim retail segment. As most guys with a bun in will attest, dudes need tummy support, too. Let's face it: in what is otherwise a man's world, preggers menfolk should also have the opportunity to participate in the fairer sex's merchandising niche of supportive pregnancy wear. Besides, my complaining and mood swings were starting to wear on my woman. She's very busy and hasn't demonstrated a great deal of sympathy so far. Suck it up, she says, like everyone else does. Nice.As this was my first pregnancy, I was anxious about stretch marks ruining my hard-won six pack. Loss of abdominal muscle tone was a concern and not something I had anticipated. My manager told me point blank that the agency for whom I've been modeling my rock hard abs wouldn't keep using me as I get mushier in the middle. Since I have no other skills, I was desperate for a real-world solution for the inevitable gravitational disruption of my money making man-machine. Applying lotion and vitamin E to my torso was nothing new since I already oil up before photo shoots. Moisturizing alone wasn't going to make the difference. I needed physical support and lift for my quickly-expanding abdomen; an invisible set of hands to prop up the goods. My back was starting to hurt, too. That's when I found the Gabrialla Elastic Maternity Belt. I'll be honest; I wasn't immediately pleased that it was called a "maternity" belt since this descriptor left me feeling a bit dejected and misunderstood. Anyway, I quickly got over that and carefully unpacked the belt with the anticipation of a child on Christmas morning. It was white, which thrilled me as I had expected black. Most guys choose black or dark clothing. But white is the good guy color and this helped me feel more connected to the life-affirming changes happening to my body. The handsome styling was also unexpected. This was a garment I could proudly wear outside of my clothing instead of hiding it between my wife beater and dress shirt. And the elastic straps are totally on-trend. I've been practicing stroller walks and I could tell they wouldn't interfere with my fanny pack. Then came the magic moment when I tried it on. The difference was amazing! I carry low and could immediately feel the weight shift to my back, balancing out the load. A total game changer. Gabrialla, you've really hit one out of the park for expectant daddies.Gentleman, it's time to cast off your moo moos and trench coats and wear this belt loud and proud. I'm now at 36 weeks and I've got my posture and balance back. It's also been dynamite for my sex life since my woman is now paying attention to me again on account of my perkier paunch. My manager even says the agency is considering a Baby Bump Boys photo spread in which I will be featured along with some guy named Bernardo. What a Godsend! I can barely express my thanks. I'm still not sure what to do about my breast changes but I'm sure a solution will present itself. We can hope.

Wonderful support -- love it so much
I've had this a week now, so I'll update if my review changes. But so far, I can't say enough good things about this. I feel so much better. My husband is probably getting tired of hearing about how much I love it. :o)This is my second pregnancy, and this time around, I have aggravated asthma and persistent coughing that led to a strained lower abdominal muscle. I was strongly advised to get a pregnancy support belt, so I purchased theΒ Soft Form Maternity Support Belt, Universal Medium . It was helpful and nice. Two weeks after I bought it, I developed a diastasis recti -- a separation of my front abdominal muscles. (This is actually very common, and can easily be checked for at home -- just Google diastasis recti.) The Gabrialla belt was recommended to me for the diastasis, so I made the purchase. I wasn't happy to be purchasing a second belt during one pregnancy, but I'm so glad I did.Diastasis or not, I think this belt is far superior to the Soft Form belt. (Nothing against the Soft Form belt, though -- it was good in its own right.) It really does support my back, which is terrific when I'm lifting my 32-pound toddler. I love how snugly I can wrap it, tightening the back stays once it's on. It almost feels like a sports bra for my abdomen. I can take long, brisk walks again. The belt helps with the abdominal strain that led to my initial purchase, but that's being addressed in a few different ways by my doctor, so I can't say how much the belt had to do with that recovery. It's undoubtedly preventing further injury, though. The one-piece construction is simple and quick to put on. I actually wish I'd had one during my first pregnancy. I didn't have any special abdominal or back concerns then, but I do know that I slowed down as the belly grew, and having this extra support would have kept me exercising longer.

Sizing was really hard to guess, but the quality was there
I was working pushing around garment racks/doing apparel floorsets and in my third trimester when I bought this. I was starting to have back problems because of the type of work I was doing and my softening ligaments so I figured I'd try this out to help. I didn't get to use this because the sizing wasn't right for me. I'm a pear shaped person more on the slender side. I tend to measure closer to 50" by my love handle/hip region and 34" by my waist/rib cage area so admittedly fairly disproportionate. Thanks to the larger of my measurements I went with an XL to accommodate my still growing belly. Unfortunately, because of my pear shape this belt extended far too high into the still RELATIVELY slender portion of my body and didn't fit properly. I still probably could've sized down for my lower half, but that wouldn't have fixed it not fitting my upper half. Just from handling the product though I can tell you it was good quality and put the nice support pressure on my sore achy body that I was looking for. I took one star off not because of the awkward fit(that's no fault of the product), but rather because of how large it is; it would've been difficult to wear under clothes, unlike some other models I have encountered. That wasn't a feature I needed as many people wear the back supports over their uniforms at work, however its always a plus in case I want to wear it out and about without completely cramping whats left of my pregnancy style. :) I would definitely recommend this band based on quality so long as you're not extremely pear shaped or interested in concealing it under your clothes.

Served its purpose . . . Be careful in choosing sizes.
Me and my husband were looking for a product like this because my lower back has been constantly having dull achy pains when I am standing or walking for long periods of time. I am 5 ft tall and the pressure of my growing belly around 7th month (1st pregnancy) made the pain worse.Fortunately, this product has helped me tremendously with those low back pains. It provided the support I needed which is mostly around the hips and lower back area. I would highly recommend this to any pregnant lady who is also having the same problem as I am.My only concern is the sizes, they do not have a consistent size details. You would notice this when you browse through their product lines. I initially ordered a Size medium because that is what I saw first and when the product came, it was small for me. But dont worry as they have good return policy, I was able to exchange mine and the product came in just 2 days.I suggest sticking to the sizing guides on this product that I reviewed for the CORRECT size guide when choosing your item. This is the accurate one.

Love it!
This belly band provides great extra support for working out with a pregnant belly. Very happy with it. Don't get white if you can help it though, it starts to look dirty quickly. Most comfortable if worn over clothes.

Great support
I tried 2 other support belts during my pregnancy. This one was by far the best and worth the money. The high back allows the pregnancy belly weight to be distributed more evenly.
