👀 Keep an Eye on What Matters Most!
The MECO WiFi IP Camera offers 1080P HD video quality, night vision capabilities, sound and motion detection, and two-way audio, all while being compatible with Alexa. It requires a constant power source and operates exclusively on 2.4GHz networks, making it a reliable choice for home security.

Great baby monitor
This is a great baby monitor. I don’t much like the cloud service. I wish you could just have a monitor work for the simple fact as putting your micro SD card in there and having your content be your own. I have never bought into the whole cloud Thing but I do like this baby monitor.

Good for check-ins
These cameras are good for checking in or having something present. The night vision works well. The motion sensors do not typically pick up smaller things like robo vacuums or cats (unless they are being really crazy!).The most annoying negative about these cameras for me is that any time the power goes out, in order to reset the camera or network, you have to completely delete the camera from the app, climb up to where it is installed, reset it & reinstall it in the app. You cannot simply reset the network or the camera remotely. Other than that, they work well enough.

The audio gave out after a while.
The audio got to a point where it was choppy and could not get full sentences of dialog out before being cut off. It was good for a while, but maybe 6 months in, it stopped being reliable.

NOT Compatible with motioneye
I bought this camera to use as a cheap local camera without any need for the cloud. It was on sale and I saw that it listed rtsp as a compatible protocol.Having never done this before, in my opinion it was not easy to get working, but I finally got it.You have to set it up first as per the device instructions using the iPhone or android app. Then you can enter the camera settings and enable onvif and you can select a password. Then I needed to use a windows application to find onvif enabled cameras. Through this, I was able to get the address for the rtsp feed.Once I had that address, I put it into motioneye and was able to set things up how I wished. The picture is great both during the day and at night. Motioneye allows me to save videos locally in response to motion without paying a subscription. However, I checked internet traffic and the camera seemed to keep contacting Amazon web service servers and Ali baba servers. I set up a firewall rule to block all that but it would be nice to make the camera completely local. One issue with my setup is the time stamp is placed in the upper left corner and if the camera is turned on while the firewall rule is in place, it will not contact its time server and the time and date will default to midnight 1/1/16. The correct time and date is there if the device is turned on first and then my firewall rule is enabled.Overall, I didn’t do much comparison shopping but I am very happy with the price I paid for the quality of this camera. I wish it were a little easier to use these locally though and more configurable.Edit 2/21/21: I purchased another camera for use locally. It seems this same listing has been replaced by a different camera which no longer has an option to use rtsp. This is extremely frustrating as it seems the seller has pulled a bait and switch- selling a completely different device from what the previous reviews have described instead of creating a new listing.

Great camera! Tons of features!
Really cool camera! Very easy to set up! With that being said I couldn't figure out how to switch my Wi-Fi network so I just gave it a shot anyways, and mine worked, so it must have switched automatically to 2.4ghz. I tested the intercom which is a really neat feature to talk to my pups and it works great! Large angle camera lens so I can capture the whole room! Night vision works great! For the price, I'd say it's the best value out there!

Not the same as the older version
Bought this thinking it was like the previous version only updated, but it is nothing like the older models. Requires new app, no RSTP/ONVIF support or functions, cannot turn off night mode, does not integrate with any other IP Camera viewers. Alexa support is only for the Echo Show. It was my mistake for not reading the full description (thought it would work like older models), so I will keep it and use it to watch my cat eat her food. Gave it 3 stars because it does work as described but is missing features previously described.

There are much better camera's for around the same price
First, I already own the MECO doorbell camera and a few outside cameras that work pretty well. I was hoping this one would be similar for indoors. It's not. It reminds me of a baby monitor from 1990. The pic is that grainy and it's black and white. Also, I can't add this camera to the same app as all my other MECO cameras and that is really dumb on their part. I will have to look somewhere else to hopefully find some indoor ones that will work with the same app since I can't find any on Amazon.
