Gift Set - Reusable Food Pouches

This is a great starter set. I love that this set will decrease waste and I can use any home made or store bought baby food with it, I'm not limited to the flavors available at my local stores. It will also help me save money because the disposable brands are pricey. They are pretty easy to hand wash with a regular bottle brush and have held up in the dishwasher (top rack). I like that these are also larger sizes than the disposable brands so they can grow with baby. The insulated cover is also great to keep baby's hands warm with cold foods or to keep food cool longer. I put them in a laundry bag and washed them in the washing machine, hang dried, and they held up. I recommend this for anyone with beginner eaters and will be buying this for friends in the future.

I use these every day for my children, ages 7-1. It’s great for applesauce, yogurt, fruit/veggie smoothie mixes, etc. I prep and fill the pouches at night, and they’re in the fridge ready for snacks throughout the next day. They’re pretty easy to clean. The only issue I’ve had is a few times it seemed like it was closed properly, only to have it pour out and spill. But that’s my fault for not paying close attention. These reusable pouches have saved me a lot of money not having to buy the store bought pouches. And I know what ingredients my kids are eating, since I make most of the fillings.

Use these every day for about six months didn't have any problems with them,they didn't leaking they were easy to put in the dishwasher and saved us a bunch of money.The only problem was the ziploc part is separate from the pouch and they are glued together and mold gets caught between where it's glued together,so the mold is cleanable without ruining the pouch .But I like them so much ,I will re-order new ones.

PERFECT for yogurt! My 7 & 9 year old take these to school everyday with yogurt in them! 1 qt=5 pouches the neoprene sleeves make them "cooler" with their friends. Although these aren't babyish on the packing, and are light enough to see the color inside. I have tried others that were awkward and harder to wash. I just rinse them out and put in the dishwasher. I do wash the covers by hand, but if I still had the basket for baby nipples that would work great! I am going to get another pack so I can have 2 flavors of yogurt for them. I haven't tried with anything else yet. I had one and it was easy to eat from. All pouches are kind of a pain to fill, but it's not that bad. They get easier the more you use them.

These are great for baby food. I got them because my 6 month old wasn't patient enough to eat from a spoon, but the disposable pouches from the store are so expensive. The reason I gave them four stars instead of five is that I wish the spout was on the bottom of the pouches instead of the side. It is a little difficult to get all the food out. Also, dark foods stain the plastic. The one I use to hold sweet potatoes is permanently orangish now.

I also bought the Squooshi food pouches at the same time. I like the Yummi pouches better because they hold more. I love that they are clear and you can see what is in them, plus they have a fill line so you know how much to put inside them. Both pouches have durable zippers (withstood the toddler test, but may pop if stepped on.) If rinsed right away, they are easier to clean in the dishwasher. Smoothies even stick to regular cups if you don't rinse. I love that the store lids fit these. They defrost fairly quickly so can be popped into a school lunch and be ready to go by lunch time. Only complaint is that I didn't find them sooner; we've been buying store pouches for at least a year now.

Everything is as advertised. The hard part is filling them up. The base does pop open to an extent but not enough to really hold it up before filling (unless you have excellent balancing skills). The zipper is strong (whew!) but doesn't make much of an opening, so pouring is tricky. I believe I'm going to buy a canning funnel and try that. Like I said the zipper's strong so my child hasn't popped one like I was afraid of. Good buy!

We love these pouches. The opening is very wide. I just blend up what we are making and pour it right into the bag with no funnel. They are easy to clean. I rinse them before placing in the dishwasher and they come out great. The only trouble I have is if I'm using blueberries, the little seeds get stuck in the bag along the edge. But a quick wipe with a bottle brush cleans it right out. The little bags are cute, but not a necessity. Check out the yummi pouch website for some awesome recipes. I highly recommend these pouches.
