Mehron Makeup Paradise AQ - STORM CLOUD, Water-Activated Face & Body Paint

Worked great, perfect “olive” green I needed for my Sea Siren costume. The make up didn’t crack or wear off, stayed on until I washed it off with make up remover. It was very easy to remove, being water based. It went on smooth, stayed all night, I would definitely buy again and recommend.

This paint is amazing. It goes on extremely easily and makes it simple to get smooth, even coverage without having to fight with the product.It works especially well for covering larger areas quickly. The color applies evenly, builds nicely, and holds up well even with sweat or a little water. I was also impressed that it applied well over areas with some hair, such as unshaved arms, without looking patchy.If you need face or body paint that gives solid coverage, applies smoothly, and stays put better than cheaper options, this is absolutely the way to go. Overall, I am very happy with it and would buy it again.

This creme body paint is fantastic especially for longer-wear use, like cosplay! We got the Amazon Green shade for an Elphaba costume and it was absolute perfection. It gives SOLID coverage in one or two coats without feeling cakey, and the color was just super vibrant and easy to blend. It also melts off like butter when it's time to take it off, no staining (at least for this shade and some of the others we've tried). We’re big fans of Mehron in general, their quality is always great, so this wasn't particularly surprising for us, but even still. Easy to apply, great pigmentation, and long-lasting. Highly recommend this if you’re looking for reliable, vibrant body paint!

This stuff was incredible. You can get a lighter or darker coverage depending on how much water you add and how many coats you use. You can absolutely get a better, less patchy look than mine if you do a couple coats. I used round and flat foundation brush and found that it was much easier than a beauty blender. I painted almost my entire body and there is still plenty left. Fortunately, it comes off very easily with water and soap. Also unfortunately, it comes off very easily when in contact with any liquid. I wore my costume out to a few bars for Halloween and had to be very careful when drinking, because if I got anything on my face it would take the paint right off. But by being very careful not to get anything on me, the paint lasted all night! And, when I got home, all it took was a shower and the tiniest bit of scrubbing for everything to come right off. I used a NYX setting spray on my face and body, but sat on a towel in cars/on upholstered chairs because although it didn't look like paint was being rubbed off from my legs to the chairs, I was definitely leaving some color behind. I'm only giving four stars because of how easily water takes it off. This would be a perfect product though if that's not an issue for you!

My son got this Mehron makeup in light blue after reading several recommendations online. It was perfect for his Toy Bonnie costume! It provided thorough coverage with a nice saturation, and we only ended up needing 1 tin of the paint. Still have some left over for next time! It also washed off well and didn’t cause any irritation. High quality costume makeup - perfect for Halloween or cosplay!

This stuff is awesome !! This is about as close as u can get to perfect with a body paint. And a little goes a LONG way, I ordered 2 but I sincerely only needed one 😅 it covered so much ! I had to reapply it maybe like twice and just on my nose area where my glasses were sitting 🤓 also I was seeing BTS and got to the stadium super early and it was about 95° and I was outside the whole time. This stuff truly stays on, it was crazy ☺️ def buy it !

Tl; Dr: From a competitive cosplayer who has used almost every brand under the sun, I only trust Paradise now and will use it either until the day I die or Paradise is no longer produced, whichever comes first. Used this for a big stage performance and it stood up to me ugly crying when our friend's memorial was played and we were announced as one of the winners of the competition we were in (see the selfie photo of myself and my friend, look under my eyes. That was all the damage the makeup took from sobbing and dabbing at my eyes with cheap paper towels!!) Read on for more in depth review + my personal application instructions that work extremely well with Paradise.I've been using this brand for years. It goes on typically in just two layers with a few spot touch ups here and there. And yes, this includes the white and black, two colors that are notorious for being difficult to apply as far as cake makeup is concerned. It is matte in finish and wears very comfortably with just the odd itch every now and then (if you are very itchy, you are either allergic or have put on too thick of a layer).From someone who has had to regularly turn 80% of their body blue as quickly as possible, this is the way I found best to apply and seal Paradise:1) Using a manufactured sponge (the ones with the smooth-ish finish), dampen it to the point of almost being considered dripping wet. You don't want it to drip water, but you want some water to be squeezed out. Work this into the makeup for a few seconds. Before applying, make sure you have put on a few layers of anti-persperant in sweat prone areas.2) Using the same sponge, brush the color onto your skin. This will leave a streaked finish, but that will be fixed in a moment. Cover everything you're going to cover and use a hair dryer to dry faster and not be freezing cold.3) Using a Natural sponge now, dampen it and work it into the color. You don't want the sponge to be so wet that it has water coming out of it when it's rung, but you want it moist enough to pick up color. Once you have worked enough color onto it, dab over all the streaks. Your color will now even out :)4) Touch up anywhere it is needed with the natural sponge and use eye shadows to contour and highlight. Personally I prefer using strong hold hair spray to seal my makeup followed up with a transparent setting powder to get rid of the tackiness. It works much better than setting spray imo. Doesn't matter what you use as long as it's decent and you seal your makeup with it.This method allows me to paint 80% of myself whatever color I want in only 2 hours. It seems to only really work well with Paradise. Other brands don't really like this method and take forever to apply as they feel more like a clay than a compressed powder like Paradise does. Paradise also stays on much better than other brands.If your skin is not sensitive, you can use alcohol in place of water to increase the dry time and lower the risk of the makeup being rubbed off. PLEASE only use water on your face.

Goes on very easily with a damp sponge. This is 3 layers of the light green. I just order dark green too bc I am going to be a witch and the dark is too dark and light is too light. Will use the dark for contours and blending on top of the light. I wore it for an hour and a half and it didn't transfer much but my nose and forehead was rubbed right off. During that time I was doing chores inside and some gardening outside and did not have my hat or nose and chin on. Shame it came off, Otherwise 4 stars.

I was pleasantly surprised that this makeup brushes on so easily and can be darker or lighter depending on how heavy you layer it on your face. I have now used it twice and I still have Halloween night to use it for in a couple of days. It will last for a long time I can tell. It comes off without too much trouble with makeup remover wipes, or in the shower, but I do feel like it leaves a little tinge of green on the skin after but that goes away within a day. Highly recommend if you need a green face for a costume. We were in Disney world and I used it and it was super hot and it didn't sweat off my face.
