Vauen Dr. Perl Junior 9mm Pipe Filters - 40 Count - Activated Charcoal & Ceramic Caps

Been using another brand through Amazon. Thought I’d try these to see how they compare cost a little bit more. Very pleased will be ordering these again much better than what I was using. They don’t fit quite as tight, but that doesn’t seem to be a problem.

This item arrived very quickly and undamaged. Very nice fit and stopped any tobacco from getting into the stem. I will buy again.

Pro: has a better draw then other charcoal/silica filters I've used Con: one end is plastic (a ceramic or paperboard endcap would be an improvement)

I recently bought a Vauen pipe so thought their own filters would be a good bet. This is my first filter pipe and I have to say I like the filters quite a bit. When using these filters I've found the smoke tends to be much cooler, totally dry and generally more pleasant (not to mention absolutely NO tobacco makes its way though the pipe and into my mouth). I've noticed no difference in flavor compared to using a non-filter pipe with the same tobaccos. I like the draw when using the filter, it gives just enough resistance to remind me of smoking a quality cigar (I generally find non-filter pipes to have a bit too loose a draw for my preferences). I've smoked the pipe twice with these filters so far, each time having two or three bowls. By the end the filter was wrecked (proof that it did its job?!), I wouldn't even think of saving it for "the next time". That works fine with me though, no complaints! Good filters, I plan to get more.

Comes with one pack of 40. The image shows a lot more than that. But the product works well.
