Outstanding case! My H6 fits into this case perfectly. It is made of heavy duty plastic, which is at least twice as thick at the case that comes with the H6. Each cut-out within the foam interior is custom sized to fit your H6 and all of the accessories. The latches are very sturdy. See picture to get a sense of the size in relation to the standard H6 case. BUY IT...

Absolutely fantastic case even with a couple of "faults": Pros: - perfect, custom fit foam that still allows you to "stuff" in other things like the dead cat and memory cards. When others see this case they know it means business. - the "case" part of the case - the outside - is good and while not the same as Pelican cases it is light and comfortable to carry at the same time. - will carry all your Zoom attachments without a problem. Cons: - Zoom stenciled obnoxiously across the front. - fit in finish is good, no perfect, but you'd have to a nit-picker to notice it. - could offer a little more "extra stuff" space to allow for the extras that no doubt come up Summary: I'd buy again and recommend to anyone considering it.

I bought this case with average expectations, and with slight concern about the price, but when I received it I was amazed! The case is really sturdy, the hard shell is very strong, joints and and locks are high quality. And best of all, every component of the Zoom H6 fits PERFECTLY in its place The case is absolutely protective, looks and feels really good. Professional quality I highly recommend this case for anyone who owns a Zoom H6 and needs a very protective casing for it. Worth the price I believe

This is a well made case, including a tough outer shell and nicely cut, firm foam inside. It's made in the USA and worth every penny. Generally, it fits the Zoom H6 and accessory mics well. That said, the cutout does not fit the Zoom SSH-6 shotgun mic, which is an inch or two longer than the mono mic (shown in picture) for which this case was designed. It may be possible to cut the foam myself, but I really hate to do that and risk damaging an otherwise brand new case. Also, there is not enough internal space to store some of the accessories, such as the foam or hair wind screens that come with the removable microphones. You can maybe fit one, but it's hard to fit both. As a result, I still have to carry around these accessories in a separate pouch when ideally they should all remain together inside the case. A very small redesign of the foam could address most of these issues. That said, I still recommend this case as an ideal way to protect your investment in the Zoom H6 family.

Fantastic case. All of my h6 accessories fit perfectly, with a tiny bit of room to spare for extras. Closes and opens silently and smoothly. I have to say I don't get excited about cases, but this one was totally impressive in terms of its quality. I plan on using SKB again in the future.

This is one HECK of a case. Here is what you need to know. The case is THICK. Nothing is getting thru this except a drill and maybe water. It is water resistant though. I don't mind the thickness because it offers protection unrivaled for the price. IF you have a ZOOM H6, you HAVE to purchase this case. We all know that the case the ZOOM comes with is...uhh...on the WEAK and flimsy side and is a hold-over until you can buy a bigger, BADDER case. This is the case to get with molded cutouts for all of the accessories of the H6. Let's just say this: I Broke my first Zoom H6. Then I bought this case. Haven't had any problems thus far, and don't expect too! This Case is: FOR YOU: - If you plan on buying more accessories than what your Zoom comes with, i.e. shotgun condenser mic. - If you travel with your Zoom H6 - If you are a professional, or want to look like one (most professionals actually take care of their gear) - If you don't want to break your zoom - If you see protection as an investment - If you like steals: $95 is a STEAL. NOT for you: - If you don't care about breaking your ZOOM, because it WILL happen. - If you don't mind paying $200 for replacement body of ZOOM after it broke. - If you aren't purchasing any more ZOOM accessories - If you are not a professional, but most likely you are or aspire to be.

I had the original case that my Zoom 6 came in and this case is a few steps UP! Custom fitted slots for all my mics and recorder and it feels like it's good enough to protect my recorder and mics for a long time.

Love this case. Love the big ZOOM letters. I find it closes well. Did have to cut out an extension on the shotgun mic slot since it was too short for the newer stereo shotgun mic. -- No problem, cut easily. Being an electrical engineer, I noticed the foam was outgassing a little (had a smell to it). So, being on the extremely cautious side, and not wanting the outgassing chemicals to possibly coat the internal H6 pots & switches, (and possibly microphones & their pots), I placed the open case out in the sun for a day. I noticed the outgassing smell gradually disappeared throughout the day, and now I can't smell anything. Great, sturdy case.
