Using this for grinding spices and making chutneys. The marble is heavy and stays stable while grinding, and the rough interior texture grips spices properly rather than just pushing them around. The pestle weight makes grinding easier than lighter alternatives. Easy to rinse clean. One thing to know: the interior left a slight dusty residue on the first use and needed a proper wash and pre-seasoning before cooking with it. Once prepped, no further issues. A durable, functional kitchen tool.
