A lot more trouble than it's worth
The instructions on this item aren't the clearest in the world, but I did eventually decipher them. However, I'm sure my downstairs neighbours weren't keen on my language as I spent nearly an hour cursing whilst trying to figure out how the tautness of the cord works in accordance with how well the blind actually stays up. I'm basically using these as a cheap door blind as my landlord thought it'd be a great idea to have a bathroom facing the front door so I can have the glory of either mooning my neighbours after leaving the shower, or being put on a register.Honestly, it's not a terrible product but I think you'd be better off getting something more sturdy and better quality.I'm trying to use this on a door, which I'd immediately advise against. Basically the cord isn't long enough for a door, which was a pain in the bum so I've had to make a temporary rig that keeps the bottom cords taut whilst it's suspended from the top of the frame. All in all: Meh out of 5

Pretty Good, Would Recommend!
These were very easy to install, would recommend a second pair of hands as this does help.Instructions appeared to be adequate, once the first one was done, instructions not required for the follow two.Adhesive is 3M so good quality but due the the small size it's not very substantial as you need alot of tension to have the blinds working correctly. I however just put a small screw through each fitting to give longevity and a worry free installation.

Looks great and works brilliantly
Being in a 2nd floor flat with flats facing me I wanted a blind that would work with my large tilt and turn window, but only to cover the bottom of the window to allow some natural light in.This blind works perfectly. The cord isn't long enough to reach the top of the window and hook over but the 3M pads appear to be very secure stuck half way up the frame. The cord fixings have a ratchet type system which allows you to adjust the cord tension easily. The cord needs to be tight but not taut so that the blind slides easily. Think more like how tight you'd pull the ties on a pair of shorts rather than how tight guitar strings are.Very pleased with my purchase.

You get what you pay for.
I’ll admit I read the description wrong, thinking I had ordered one big enough to cover all the glass on the back door. Instead it fits the top pane-as it turns out doesn’t look too badIt’s not easy to fit, you definitely need another person to help, unless you want to spend ages, get really frustrated and almost give up! This is because you need someone holding the opposite side of the string as it all works on tension.I made sure the upvc was clean prior to fitting and allowed the sticky pads to have 24 hrs. So far they’re still in place-had the strings come loose from the fixings, however it’s not opened up regularly. If I had one on the lower panel there’s no way it would survive a toddler and dog.Overall it does the job for now but I plan to get a better quality one fitted later as it’s not urgent for now.

Very hard to fix up compared to a Venetian blind but looks nice
Frankly I wish I had bought a Venetian blind, it would have been up in 10 mins max ,this thing took me well over an hour and a half of sweaty frustration to get it finishedIts very fiddly ,lots of small plastic parts ,so you need nimble fingers and good eyesightTo be fair I was fixing to a sliding frame with no access to the bottom part to fix the plastic brackets so I had to make a bottom bar up to provide a firm anchor fixed on the main frame, so the window has to be up so as too make the chords tight each side. The chords have to be tight for the blind to work properly there's a lot of messing about to get the tension right tying knots in the chordsIts completely different system to a conventional Venetian blind, the whole thing can be slid up and down the chords each side so there is an advantage over a normal blind, lots of variation as to where to leave it .There is a problem to close the window completely as the brackets interfere as they hook over the frame.as mine is in an outhouse it doesn't matter if there is a small gap when shut.In short it was totally unsuitable for a sliding window but I made it work as described ,the window has to remain shut in this situation or else the blind collapses.. I dont know if it will last long, it is of a lightweight plastic construction.BUT it does look nice so it was worth the blood sweat and tears I suppose .

If it arrives it will do the job
I’m writing this review on the basis that Amazon offered me a £3 bribe to do so and this is probably the most likely way to highlight to them that inviting people to review stuff is usually best done when you have actually dispatched the thing you’re asking them to review.Ordered 2 weeks ago - still ‘preparing for dispatch.’As it happens I already have 3 of these from a previous order and this was ordered to account for a slightly undersized window frame. They’re ok to install but the stickiness of the things suck. You will need actual proper 3m Or other adhesive stickers to make them work.So yeah, they work ok. Reasonable blind for the price. But seriously; prompting me to review when it’s not even dispatched yet is daft.

Do not buy it for a door window ...
I could only put one star for this as I am sure I read it will fit at a door window..but it doesn't , so there was no where for it to clip onto and plus I found it very fiddly to put the bits together in the ist place and then frustrated it had nothing to grip to.

Good fitting for back door blind. Narrow enough to let door open fully.
Great for the back door. Used screws for lower connectors as the foam pads were not quite strong enough.
