how many steaks (or what ever you are cooking) can you do at the same time?

Last night I cooked 20 inches of NY Strips packed in 4 one-gallon freezer bags (5 inches per bag).  Sous Vided for 6.5 hours at 130 degrees in a 26 qt sous vide tank.  Cut each 5 inch section into 4 steaks for a total of 16 steaks.  Finished off on the grill for a sear and served to guests with a butter knife.  People couldn’t stop talking about how great their steak was.  So, I don’t know what it will do beyond that but 16 is certainly possible.

This unit does not stay on to heat the water, bought it for a friend....do you have any advice for her?.....thanks!

After you set the temperature you have to set the length of time the unit will continue after it reaches the set temperature. My guess is your friend only set the temperature. Time to go back to the operator's manual

Question 3

What are the lights for that are on the side of the unit?  What do they indicate.  The manual does not state.

In standby mode, the 10 LED lights are all lit. After 1 minute in standby mode, if there is no operation or setting, all LED lights will go out; in operating mode, before the water reaches the set temperature, the LED lights in the light bar will display the cooking progress in succession; when the water reaches the set temperature, the uppermost light in the light bar will be lit. Every time 10% of the set cooking time is passed, the previous LED light will go out and the next LED light will continuously flash. When the set cooking time is reached, the machine will automatically stop and enter standby mode; in alarm mode, all 10 LED lights will flash simultaneously.

What are Product dimensions ? Specifically the length of the part that can be immersed and diameter? Tx!

The 'max water line' is 6" from the bottom end. The diameter is 2-1/4".
