Gerber Paralite Knife, Champagne [30-001345]

I bought this as a Christmas gift for my wife. This was a total bust.Pros: noneCons:1. Not rose gold colored. More copper-ish than anything else2. Screws had so much loc-tite that most of them stripped when I attempted to loosen them. Why loosen them? See #33. The locking mechanism gets so tightly wedged under the blade that releasing the lock becomes a torture trap/death trap for your fingers or thumb.4. The knife did not have a sharp edge out of the box.5. Since I stripped the majority of screws I am not even going to attempt to return it.I would not recommend this knife ever. There is no circumstance in which I would recommend this knife. I couldn't even recommend it as a simple paperweight as it was not the pretty color that it was supposed to be.

I didn't like the fact they sell this as rose when it's clearly brown. False advertising in my opinion. Terrible marketing but the knife is sharp, light, very strong has a pocket clip and a frame lock. Overall I should've jus gotten another paraframe. Oh, and the paraframes are 16 dollhairs at walywrld.

This is a cool looking knife, but right out of the box, the pivot is cranked down so hard that is grinds and is super hard to open. After loosening the pivot and lubing it up it works pretty nice. The other screws on the frame are crap though and will strip if you try to take this knife apart, which I wanted to do because I also suspect that one of the bronze washers is not flat. Right now it's working ok, but I might return it and try another as I think this is a factory defect.

seems like a fine knife, but the blade has a thick coat of dull copper paint (not rose gold), which is already chipping off at the pivot point. I'm sure it will get scratched up with every use. would have been better to just have the anodized frame with a standard more durable finish on the blade.

Knife is a little heavy for an EDC but it’s nice looking and sharp right out of the box. However the color is way off. It’s more Bronze or copper and black then Rose. Wish it was more Rose gold as advertised.

The build quality and look of this knife are fine for the price. Main gripe is that the action/locking detent are way too stiff and the frame lock is nearly impossible to engage with one hand. Also the blade is a bit dull out of the box. Definitely needs to be worked on and broken in before depending on it.

The color title is misleading, but this is a nice knife. It is quite cheap and has good quality. Those two descriptions rarely go with each other. It is very lightweight and easy to carry around with you.

Ordered this knife for an EDC because it looked very pretty in the product pictures. Knife came and turned out the color is much darker than pictured. Bearings are very stiff as well, but just need to be broken in as they are fine now. Also not even a full day of owning this knife, I noticed a small chip in the blade near the curve of the blade. Some sharpening and the chip is less noticeable, but still disappointed as I never cut anything with it.

Pour 15e c'est un couteau correct, pas de jeu dans la lame, finitions corrects mais sans plus, affutage d'origine nul. Tenue correcte en main.Couleur gris mat sur les photos mais en réalité plutot argent/or brillant. Ouverture d'une main, la securité fonctionne bien et sans jeu.EN RÉSUMÉ, COUTEAU POUR DÉPANNER QU'ON LAISSE DANS SA POCHE.

J'étais un peu rebuté par la couleur, mais à vrai dire il fait un excellent EDC.La lame est bien aiguisée et le fermoir est de bonne facture.

Couteau de bonne conception, pas de jeu dans la lame, robuste. Très bon coupant de la lame.

couleur en or et non champagne, sur les deux couteaux commandes un est d occasion traces d usures... voila pourquoi 1 etoile, de plus impossible d avoir un echange car non propose...., apres sur le couteau or mis la couleur qui fait tres bling bling cecla semble etre un bon couteau a voir dans le temps
