Suncala 128MB Memory Card for PlayStation 2, High Speed Memory Card for Sony PS2

I bought this to back up some stuff from aging 16mb and 2x 8mb memory cards for my scph-75001 and it was compatible. It had plenty of space and fit snug and was easy to plug in and it made me feel great having peace of mind knowing everything is backed up to a new and great working card now.I like this brand and have bought a controller in the past and would consider buying more from them in the future.Keep up the great work!

Back in the day, off-brand high capacity memory cards for the PS2 were hit or miss whether they'd work with certain games, so it was always a pain to have to shuffle games around on them vs the 8MB max official Sony cards.I bought this to try and condense all my old save files onto 1 card for safe keeping for my still-working 2002 model PS2, skeptical as to whether it'd work. Shockingly, every game I moved onto this card worked fine. I was even able to get some saves off a failing card before they were gone for good.Absolutely worth it, and more than enough space considering how small PS2 save files are. 128MB is the max that the PS2's OS can read at a single time.

Works as you’d expect, some games dont work with over 8mb due to sony trying to combat 3rd party items at the time. Keep that in mind

Way more space than my 8 MB memory card and can save a bunch of sports games since they take up a bunch of space.

So I just got this memory card like 10 minutes ago. I have my ps2 and powered up the system with no disk in. Ps2 recognizes the card so far so good. Put in Azure Dreams a ps1 title and played to the point where i could save. Attempted to save and system says there’s no card in slot 1. Switched over to Suikoden 3 a ps2 game, did the same played til i could save, save successful. Tried a different ps1 game, this time Suikoden 2, got to point to save, no card recognized in slot. For whatever reason, even though we should be able to save ps1 games on this from ps2 it doesn’t work that way. Other than that issue (meaning i have to find a ps1 compatible card now and hope it works) this card isn’t bad, local gaming store (not gamestop cuz they don’t carry these anymore) was trying to sell the same card for 20 bucks, so getting it for 7 was amazing.

I'm a huge game collector, keeping all physical games and playing them too from my eclectic mix of all genres. When it comes to PS2, I have 6 different cards maxed out already with saves. It gets real annoying when I pop in a game and have to remember what memory card its on to pop into slot 1 or 2. No more now, I moved everything, plus all subsequent saves from my PS2 games fit easily onto this card. It recognizes right away, and even the loading/saving speeds weren't slower, which is the least I expected! Do yourself a favor if you're a casual or die hard PS2 player... buy this card, it is the best 8$ you can invest! Came in days later and will stay with my setup the entire time! Remember this is for PS2 games only, not 1!
