Before I bought these I can say I knew that the Y-series screw head standard existed, but as the screw-heads at Apple use more and more ridiculous screw hardware to make self-repair more difficult, companies like this will keep making nice tools to fight the madness. These are professional grade so they are perfect if your job requires doing things like replacing batteries in older MacBooks on a regular basis. Those junky drivers included with replacement parts should be thrown away - get these instead!

Just what I needed to remove the battery from a 15" late 2011 MacBook Pro.Two warnings:- Store the screwdrivers with the tips facing up, otherwise they'll poke holes in the bottom of the plastic pouch they came in.- The very tip of the spludger snapped off first use. Still works well. But check yours carefully and make sure you don't leave that little sliver of plastic behind.Still happy to have this set! Screwdrivers worked perfectly, good price, arrived sooner than expected.

These screwdrivers have a comfortable handle and a swivel top. I didn't have any problems with them. The set comes with two tri-wing sizes and one phillips, as well as a plastic pry tool. The pry tool was extremely useful for opening joy cons without scratching them. I only needed one of the tri-wing screwdrivers for the joy cons. Maybe the other size is for opening the Switch body? I don't know. The phillips screwdriver isn't a great fit for the phillips screws inside the joy cons. It's fine. It works. It's just not great. I was able to get a tighter fit with another electronics screwdriver I have. If you're opening your joy cons, the only thing you'll need outside this set is a pair of tweezers.

Great tool set for Nintendo switch or if you are trying to change your battery out on a Samsung gear s3 frontier watch. I used these to change my gear s3 battery and they worked perfectly.

I would recommend trying something else if you are buying these screwdrivers to use on Nintendo products. The triwing screwdriver does not fit snugly on Nintendo screws. They will work but it’s very easy to damage both the screws and screwdriver in the process. I would rate these as disposable tools as far as quality goes.

These triwings were just what I needed to repair my Wii. However, the spudger was not what I needed. The plastic was way too soft to use for anything. They should just drop it from the kit and save a few pennies.

I bought these because my son dropped his switch and the charging part popped out. They worked just fine to put it back together. I dont know how well they would hold up to a lot of use

This set is perfect for any job that requires a triwing mini screw driver. It also comes with a small phillips and flat head. These seem to be pretty decent quality; the also tops spin for easy use.

Awful quality. I bought this set to replace the battery of my Galaxy S3 Classic because it requires a Y00 screwdriver. I managed to unscrew 1 out of 4 screws and the screwdriver head (yes, screwdriver head) was completely stripped. I am not sure what material is used to make these screwdrivers but it seems as soft as aluminium. This is a strong do not buy warning.

Ordered this screwdriver set as I particularly needed the Y00 screwdriver for the back cover screws to replace the battery on my Samsung Gear S3. Although I noted some reviews raised concerns about the quality/durability of these tools etc., I decided to take a chance given the difficulty finding this particular size screwdriver and the price of this set. In the end, these worked very well - including extracting one back cover screw that I had partially stripped by initially using the wrong size screwdriver. I did take particular care to apply steady pressure using the palm of my hand to the rotating handle head, and turn the screwdriver handle body with my thumb and forefinger to avoid slippage/damage. One pleasant surprise was the included plastic spudger - I thought this would be a throwaway item, but it actually proved quite useful both for removing the back cover, and disconnecting the ribbon connectors. I used a utility knife to very carefully lever open the back cover just enough to insert the flat blade of the spudger, then used the spudger to slowly and repeatedly pry at the back cover until it lifted up (it is held in place by the waterproofing gasket). Take care not to penetrate the edge too deeply, or you will damage the gasket (you can find images of the back cover gasket online to serve as a guide). The pointed end of this spudger was very useful for disconnecting (and reconnecting) the power flex cable (some guides seem to suggest this is not necessary; it is however easy if you are careful, and I would suggest you do this to avoid breaking this cable when you remove the motherboard from the chassis to access the battery). Also very useful to disconnect the battery cable from the chassis (be careful to do this before fully separating the motherboard from the chassis), and for disconnecting and reconnecting the other flex cables from the motherboard. Bought this to replace the broken left analog stick on my Wii U Gamepad. They were the perfect size for the job, and were easily able to reach down to the recessed tri-wing screws. The screwdrivers are magnetic, which is a plus. As far as I can tell, they seem to be decent quality, but I've only used them briefly (review will be edited if this changes in the future). For now, I recommend them!

My Gear S3's buttons wen't working well. The Y00 screwdriver was able to undo the screws in the back and the phillips screwdriver was able to undo the 2 internal screws. I was able to to get the drywall dust out of the watch and put it back together with these tools.
