I looked at a lot of reviews before I chose this desk. The two shelves were the clincher. You do need a place to put stuff when it's not on top of your desk. The legs are metal. The shelves and desktop are particle board. I'm going to use this desk for a variety of thigs including artwork.I was able to assemble the desk with just the two tools included in the packet in about an hour, by myself. I know other reviewers mentioned that the holes did not align, I had no such problems. I have the 47 inch desk and currently my 13 inch laptop resides on the top along with a 32 inch TV. Inbetween and around there is plenty of room for other things. I do not feel crowded.This was an affordable solution that satisfies my needs.

It was very easy to put together. The size of this desk is perfect for my room and laptop. Nice clean look and so not to heavy to move if you need to.

I just moved to an apartment and it is 706 square feet. I wanted a desk that I could put in without causing space issues and also one that was sturdy enough to hold my printer and all of the books I will be putting on it! This size i measured out and was a bit worried it might be small with the printer but it actually looks really big and the bottom shelf holds my printer perfectly! But I took a picture of it on top to show it will still fir and leave me enough room to study in case i needed to copy things. I love the color it is very sturdy. It says to have 2 people assmeble but I did it by myself in a little over an hour which included cleanup as well. I love it and will definitely recommend it to friends!Edit: It did come with an extra screw in each set and for that I am thankful as one screw in the C set was chipped but I didn't have to worry about calling it in as they already sent an extra! All other parts just needed some cleaning before assembly, I would recommend cleaning anyway, but it looks amazing and everything came perfectly!

The desk came in well packaged. All part are well identified, and tools are provided (Allen key, hexagonal key) with the hardware. No missing pieces - even a few extras- and clear instructions if you have already built a few pieces of similar « furniture ». Although it is suggested to have two persons assemble it, I was fine by myself. No power tools should be used so if you are having hand/wrist issues, plan to build it a bit at a time or have someone help!I needed a desk surface for my teenager, nothing to last a lifetime - just functional and a bit nice. For not too high a price, this delivers writing/computer/arts and crafts surface with shelf space in an acceptably sturdy frame that is, actually, very nicely designed and looks better in person for a « hollow metal frame and composite » piece!I would NOT recommend for rooms accessed by kids 10 and under as it could be a hazard if climbed onto - and the design is quite inviting in that respect! But for reasonable use by teenagers or adults during a few years, or to do light arts and crafts projects, I would definitely recommend. The reason for the 4 stars: one of the shelves had an irregularity in the composite surface so a piece of surface the size of a quarter came off, leaving a small rough patch. My teenager overlooked this happily as she liked her new desk so much, and I am more than glad to overlook it as well as this desk otherwise delivers exactly what I was hoping for.

My husband needed more desk surface area for his home office. And some shelves/storage were also needed. This helped solve both issues. Only thing that would have made this the best desk ever was if it had a drawer. Shelves are a good size but don’t hide anything. Quality is good for the price. We’ve been using ours for 2 months now and it still looks brand new - it’s holding up well. Spacious work space - easily fits one large or two smaller monitors and a laptop + mousepad + extra space for notepad/books/etc. Definitely would recommend if you're on a budget but still need good function out of your workspace.

This desk has nothing extra to it in terms of edges or thickness or extra posts. It's about as minimal and functional of a desk for the price. My old ikea desk was too cramped and one thing that made it especially bad was that there was a wood piece sticking down towards the tops of my legs which really didn't add anything functionality wise. This desk has nothing unnecessary like that.It fits my space perfectly and actually doesn't look so bad. At first the wood looked cheap to me but it was more likely the bits of styrofoam everywhere. Very easy to put together, at least as easy as ikea furniture I've constructed. Actually it looks nicer than some ikea desks I've built and costs less.The only con is the quality control isn't super high as you read from other reviews. In my case nothing was horribly broken but there was a little rust and one item was slightly bent at the end, which was fixable actually.If you know this desk will be the right size for you, you need the shelving space, and don't have a ton of money to spend I can't really imagine going wrong with this.

Such a great deal for this desk! I will say, it’s originally $120, and I got it on sale for $85 so if you can - WAIT FOR A PRICE DROP. The assembly was pretty simple and easy. However, the bottom shelf is missing a screw because the board is a little too long and the screw hole doesn’t match on the metal rod (which honestly is fine. I tightened the other 3 screws enough and it’s on the bottom I’m not too worried about it).Other thing is, the second photo shows one of the metal pieces a little bent. Another reviewer said all he did was put it between some cloth/blankets and lightly hammered it and it was fine. So that’s what I did and it was perfect, don’t be afraid of some extra manual labor :)Overall, five stars from me. I love the color of the wood (it’s juuuuussssst a smidge darker in person than in the photos). Essembly, again, was easy and straight forward. Love the sizing, shelf’s, and aesthetic. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! (There’s a longer version of this desk if you need more table top space)

かわいいです！！運ばれてきたときはすごく重くて持ち上がりませんでした。なのでその場で開封しひとつひとつずつ運んで組み立てました。足りないパーツなどはありませんでした。組み立ては少し大変でしたが一人でもできると思います。しかし収納のところの板もねじ穴とねじ穴を合わせるのに手こずりましたそこが終わればあとは楽ちんです。買ってよかった！！
