SLP Performance 21110E Blackwing Cold-Air Induction Kit for Chevrolet Corvette

Ok, I normally don't buy into the big air cleaner/filter thing, but I had a few $100 gift cards and figured, what the heck. Alright this thing is pretty cool, I would buy it again with cash and not free gift cards if I wasn't so lucky to get free gift cards. It has a nice sound and I did slightly notice a little boost when I nailed it. I put this on a 2000 corvette convertible. Ok, just one issue. The filter came with a sensor and a grommit to put in, but there was a vaccum hose in the old filter I believe that goes to the brake booster, so I purchased a straight 3/4 connector to connect the vaccum line into the filter in the hole made for the sensor, the sensor they give u is to tell u when to clean the filter. Now I'm debating on when I clean the filter for the first time, should I drill/cut a hole so I can put in the sensor. Anybody know if adding the vaccum line would mess up the sensor if I install it being having the vaccum line connected may change the pressure needed to work the sensor. If anybody knows, please let me know. Thanks!

Well was an easy job if everything went like it should . I myself had a very hard time getting the rubber grommets off the front took forever, once I got them off easy to get in . Only the top grommets did not snap in to well . Also no instructions have to go to web site .
