OCA: Oracle Database 12c Administrator Certified Associate Study Guide: Exams 1Z0-061 and 1Z0-062

Bought this book for an Introductory Oracle Database class and the material is spot on so I currently have an A in the course.

Brand new when bought from the used section. Highly recommended for anyone going into databases, even in databases other than Oracle. Review questions and answers are helpful.

It's a good study guide that guides you through the exam topics chronologically. However, it doesn't cover some of the topics in depth that will be tested in the actual exam. In fact, about 15 out of 67 questions in the 062 exam contain materials that are either never covered or only mentioned briefly in the book. It's a book that can get you started but you will need to also thoroughly read the Oracle online documentations to have a chance of passing the exams.

Very clear explanations throughout the guide to Oracle 12c. Anyone can pick this up and understand how to operate the database from a DBA perspective.

My school bookstore was selling this for almost twice as much as it is here. There are a couple of errors in the book, but overall, very good content. I'll try to update after I take the Cert Exam.

This book does not included the CD which is a very important part of such books. It does not look original copy to me, because if it is an original copy then, it must have a CD. Studying from such book is worthless.It is also printed everywhere that practise further from CD included.I wish, there is a Zero Star rating available in above link.

per essere un libro che dovrebbe coprire l'esame 1z0-062 ci sono troppi punti della 12C che vengono saltati riportando che non fanno parte dell'esame. peccato che poi nei quiz il multitenant è presente. Venendo dalla OCA 11g il libro è risultato un buon ripasso

O autor escreve de uma forma clara e de facil entendimento. O material complementar também é otimo.Recomendo! Otimo guia para certificação.
