ZvexEffects Super Hard On Vexter Series Ultra High-Impedance Preamp Boost Guitar Pedal

This is a great boost pedal. It really enhances your amp and goes from a nice clean boost to really gritty overdrive. I really love it!!

This is a great boost pedal. One of the rare few that doesn't have any sort of tone circuit in the path to change the EQ. I highly recommend it. I will be buying another one soon for another pedalboard.

it didn't say super hard on on it or have an image of a sasquatch, it was godzilla (king kong?). still does what it should but know these things.

I have one at the front of my chain and one at the end. The first one is an intial buffer, set at unity gain. It seems to open up the guitar and add a little something nice and sparkly to all my guitars. The one at the end is a clean booster. I don't use these for OD, but I have. It pushes a tube amp just over the edge wonderfully.I have a hand-painted version and the Vexter version above. I can't hear any appreciable difference, but I do use the hand-painted one for boost.

ZVex makes great products and this preamp is great. It really adds a nice classic clean crunch. I just dial it in a little and it sounds like classic grit. You can dial it in further for more grit but at about 30% it is really fantastic for that classic clean crunch.

If your running several pedals in your signal chain, this pedal is a must have. I'm very satisfied with this unit.
