Maxpedition Traveler Deluxe

Maxpedition markets this as a passport holder, but it better resembles the ID holders I've used in deployed locations. In these deployed locations, you're required to keep on your person many different access cards, certificates, military ID, and orders. The Traveler Deluxe does all of those things admirably, and if your singular purpose is holding a passport and money securely, this might be overkill. I've used one of these for the past ¿dozen? years and am nearly ready to replace. The manufacturer quit making them a while back and most sellers were out of stock. So I grabbed this one while still available.While pricey I've gotten great use from this everyday carry wallet that even accommodates large slab phones in slim protectors. Many's the time I've been asked about and recommended this wallet to appreciative men and women. Not to everyones taste, but wonderfully useful and holds up to use and some abuse extremely well.

Wow! Aside from the usual quality to be expected from Maxpedition, this thing is much more than just a travel wallet. First, there is an additional strap that goes around your chest. This means extra security and also the wallet won't swing out when you're bent over your luggage, or a small child, or tying your shoe. Having your wallet stay inside your jacket means additional security as well.Second, this thing has more pockets than a pool table factory. The slot in the back also holds a 3"x5" notepad.This is what problem analysis and solution engineering are all about. Is there a chance we can turn Maxpedition loose on the government?

Am in the process of sending back and hopefully getting a refund for a product sent that was not a Maxpedition product. Owning the same product in a different color is my proof that the product sent was not a Maxpedition product. The absence of the word Maxpedition on the poor quality product sent was also a clue. An absolute disgrace. An underhand way to substitute a vastly inferior product. Should be urgently investigated.

I wanted this when I saw a video review of it on youtube a while back. However, never realized how big this wallet was until I got it! Never the less it can store my subway map, money, keys, cards, personal hygiene stuff (lip balm, mini hair brush, tampon, etc.), mini memo pad, pen, phone and mp3 player securely in it's many, many pockets. Not the most fashionable accessory for a city girl, in fact, I was told that I look like a tourist. Whatever... The end result is that I only need one wallet and given that I wear this under my coat, makes this a very secure wallet. So it's all good. :) Thumbs up to the guys at Maxpedition!

I was looking for something about 1/2 the size of this to carry only a passport and some other small items around my neck. The quality is excellent and typical Maxpedition. It is too large to fit my needs.

I'm a little biased in favor of Maxpedition products but that's because their gear has never let me down. The Traveler Deluxe is well made & has lots of accessories, pockets & space for all of the things you need to keep handy while traveling.

Well made, but a little big to wear under a shirt as intended.I ended up putting it in a pocket in cargo shorts most of time

Wie üblich ein sauber verarbeitetes Maxpedition Produkt.Der Brustbeutel kann bequem und ohne etwas zu verstellen unter dem Hemd verschoben werden wenn man zb im Flugzeug sitzt oder auf einem Schiffsdeck schläft.Direkt auf der Haut würde ich die Börse nicht tragen sondern habe immer ein Unterhemd zuerst angezogen dann ein Hemd darüber.Die Deluxe Version bietet ausreichend Staufächer für mehrere Kreditkarten,Cash,Ausweise und SD Karten.Der Deutsche Reisepass passt super in das vordere Klarsichtfach.Innen gibt es mehrere Unterteilungen mit Netzgewebe und Reissverschlusstaschen.Kreditkarten in den offenen Fächern können mit Hilfe einer Klettlasche gesichert werden.Durch die vielfältigen Staufächer ist der Brustbeutel natürlich nicht klein und diskret,man sieht ihn definitiv unter dem Hemd (was eigentlich bei jedem dieser Produkte so ist)Man kann ihn aber so verrutschen das er mehr unter der Achsel sitzt und man ihn mit seinem Arm etwas verstecken kann.Die Tasche wird leider von scannern am Flughafen erkannt so das man sein Hemd ausziehen muss um die Tasche auszuziehen.

A significant upgrade over the original Traveler but I wish the straps were at least a foot longer to properly fit my 6' frame while wearing a fall or winter coat. As sold, the strap is barely long enough to be used over a T or very light jacket.
