EverDrive GBA X5 MINI

This works exactly as described and setup was super quick and easy! I used a 32GB Samsung mini-SD card and it seems to be working very well in the EverDrive with instant loading times on every game I’ve tested. Even almost every homebrew and custom RomHack I’ve tried have worked just fine! I've tested it on a GBA SP and a DS Lite and they both work perfectly. The only negative I could think of is that the instructions are not included with the product. You will have to go to Krikkz' website and read the .TXT file to learn how to properly update the BIOS file and add the extra NES, Game Gear, GB/GBC, and Master System emulators. But there are also plenty of video tutorials on the tubes if you prefer that method. Once you've downloaded all the proper emulators and added them to your flash drive's GBASYS folder, the Everdrive will be able to play Sega Master System (Mark III), GameGear, GB/GBC, and NES games almost flawlessly (I’ve read some reviews of music/sound issues on certain games but I never encountered these issues myself.) One thing I have not gotten to work are Sega SG-1000 (Mark I) games, but not a huge issue. I'll definitely be buying more of Krikkz' products in the future!

hello. i check my parcel service. so. is this real krikzz?? As far as I know, krikzz has a support in the black box. But this product came like this. I wonder if this product is genuine. and another ploblem is, Play for 30 minutes on a fully charged game console and turn off the power.

Works as should good product

This is a must-have for serious GBA collectors. It provides you with the ability to play all of your GBA games on a single cartridge, and it has an intuitive interface which makes changing games simple and frustration-free. _______________________________________ First, the good: • Prevents wear and tear on your original cartridges, preserving them for years to come. • The internal battery is easy to replace, and allows for use of the Real-Time Clock in games that support it. • Supports all first-party Nintendo Game Boy Advance games (The Legend of Zelda, Mario, Metroid, Pokemon). • Works on all variations of Game Boy Advance (Game Boy Advance, Game Boy Advance SP, Game Boy Advance micro) • Works on the Nintendo DS and Nintendo DS lite. • Works on the Gamecube Game Boy Player. _______________________________________ And, of course, the bad: • Doesn't support save states. • Doesn't support cheat codes. • It's slightly longer than a Game Boy Advance cartridge (see picture.) _______________________________________ The average collector should not need a micro SD Card larger than 16GB.

Exactly as described. GBA games run natively, which means it supports link cable features! I've used the Everdrive on a Gameboy Advance SP and a DS lite, and it's worked perfectly on both systems. I love the file browser feature, and the ability to emulate Gameboy/Gameboy color and NES (haven't tried link cable with emulated games, so I'm not sure if that will work). Important note: You'll need to supply your own microSD card (I used a 16GB SanDisk card, and it works great!) You'll also need to download the OS from the krikzz website and add those files to the root of the card (the file you download will unzip to a "GBASYS" folder. The entire folder needs to be in the root directory of the card). The cartridge shipped in its own padded box. It was in flawless condition, but I did notice the screw holding the cartridge together was a little loose. I tightened it with a Philips, and it was good to go.

The original seal has been broken. It’s a used card. There are many scratches on the surface and crack near the screw.

The device worked fine after setting it up properly but the process was very persnickety about the type of SD card and format. Also, the price is about $100 more than the manufacturer is selling it on their store. I'll be returning this one for a refund and buying from them.

Excellent! It took two tries and an empty package to get one, but it’s here and works exactly, if not better, than advertised.

Very good product

Works exactly as I would expect including a built-in RTC. Setting the RTC using a game like Boktai, it is a single RTC clock that is shared between all other games. MicroSD support is vastly improved as long as you update the base OS and bootloader. Support is also great over on the main forums for the device.

never have to buy a GBA game again after this especially as most gba games on ebay are fakes you might as well get this and save a lot in the long run. stick an SSD in there and it's netflix for gba games. product works great, also worth checking out the other products for other consoles, including gbc, n64, megadrive/genesis, S/NES
