Compact and comfy
We really like the chair, it's super compact, easy to assemble, and comfortable when sitting. Stability doesn't seem to be a problem (we are all pretty average/medium build). We have used it camping and at the beach - no issues on the different terrains. The seat needs to be pulled/stretched to get it onto the frame - it's very taught, but not crazy hard to do. And getting everything back into the bag takes some adjusting, but also not impossible - the fabric is pretty forgiving/stretching so it works very well.Overall it's a great chair and the quality of the build is excellent, but the price is higher than average - so it's not a slam dunk.

Happy Customer.
I am quite pleased with the portability of these chairs. I own two and am able to pack them in the base of my stroller or in a diaper bag for impromptu picnics and times when we want to just sit outside and enjoy the breeze on our scenic walks.I have had family members of all ages and weights use them at huge family camping trips and had no problems with them falling over or breaking. Meanwhile, by the end of the camping trips, as a group we would have at least five other brands of portable chairs left broken--many of which were more expensive than the Travelchair Joey.My only issue with these chairs is that the nearly all of the little "feet" on them fell off in the first couple of times using the chairs. Though I ended up getting more of them pretty easily by contacting Travelchair, I wish they were attached more securely in the first place. After getting two sets of free replacement feet, we ended up supergluing them on. Now, we don't have any issues with them. It would just be nice for them to be superglued from the factory in the first place.I recommend these chairs, but I have to tell you to SUPERGLUE the feet on as soon as you get them or you will be waiting for new ones in the mail in a matter of time.

But I'm glad I got it so is my back and but
For the price it took me a min to pull the plug on it. But I'm glad I got it so is my back and but. No more cold hard rocks, no more stools or small chairs with no backs. Small and easy to set up. After setup its good sizes. I back packed it on the app. trail in va. for roughly over 20 miles and still carry it on all my trips. Vary comfortable and between everyone that went on trips with me are buying the joey chair. I research other chairs of same system and this is the cheapest on the market. I did have an issue with the foot pegs. I called the travelchair comp. to talk to a human. Yes a lady toke my call. She send two foot pegs and told me for $8.99 i could upgrade for bigger foot pegs. After that no more sinking or losing pegs, Great customer service and product.

LOVE my new chair!!!!
I ordered the Joey Chair through Amazon and it came from Spencer Aircraft. I go to a lot of outdoor concerts and my old back pack chair was simply too heavy, especially for long walks getting in. I was so excited when I got the chair but when I tried to put it together, the seat didn’t fit the frame. I called Spencer Aircraft and they could not have been nicer. What great folks! They sent me a new cover that was a perfect fit. I was so pumped about trying it out, I sat in it last night and watched TV and then sat in it again this morning. The chair is surprisingly comfortable and so light. I am super excited about trying it out at Jazz Fest. The customer service provided my Spencer Aircraft could not have been better.

Great for out of the country baseball tournament.
I really enjoyed the chair. I bought the chair to use at a baseball tournament in the Dominican Republic. The chair was light weight for travel and easy to carry around. One of the plastic leg end caps did break after the first use so I wasn't happy with that. The product could be improved by putting metal end caps on the legs. Now that the end cap is broke that leg wants to sink into the dirt. Besides that I would definitely recommend this product

great for motorcycle & backpacking!
6'2" 220# boyfriend approved- solid with good height & back for him. went together fairly easy. the feet seem secure- when we tried to pull/twist off they wouldn't budge so they may be securing them better but we'll keep an eye on them due to other reviews. the only thing i like better on the more expensive version is the material- though i prefer the grey to black & this will probably dry better because of it, it's a bit slick and you can stick to it- a very minor complaint though- we really like the pack size for motorcycle & weight for backpacking.

Great chair, great service...
I recently purchased this chair for motorcycle camping because of good reviews and its very reasonable cost. I found it to be fantastic for times where small size (packed) and big comfort are important. Top marks in both regards! As for the service part, I lost a couple of the chairs 'feet' when they sunk into some soft ground. I called Travel Chair and they gladly sent a couple replacement no charge. I'll just be more observant next time and be able to retrieve them if they come off...maybe I'll glue them on???Highly recommended!

Met all my expectations
This thing is heavy duty. Way better than all of the other ones I've seen at the local chains. Most of the other chairs have a 250 lb capacity. This one claims 300 lbs and I believe it. Also it's quite a bit taller and wider than the others. My friend bought the smaller one, and he said he's buying one like mine.
