Works well for Amazon Air Monitor device
Description says it all. Wanted something to be able to get the Amazon air quality monitor a bit out of the way. This shelf is definitely bigger than needed for that device, but it’s not big enough to make it seems awkward or out of place. Worked perfectly for intended purpose, and very nice that this has the hidden cord management that most similar items don’t seem to incorporate.

It's okay
It's okay. Cheap plastic. Although rated for 5 lbs, I wouldn't place anything more than 1 lb on the shelf. A bit difficult to slide shelf into plate. If you don't intend to place anything too heavy on the shelf works fine.

Works well with the Good Nest Audio
Nice shelf for horizontal outlets. The cable management is great and it looks fairly good on the wall. It’s slightly big for the Google Nest Hub, but it works well.

Perfect little shelf
This shelf was exactly what I needed to sit a camera on. We already had an electrical outlet high on our kitchen wall where we once had a TV mounted so this was super easy to put up. It is perfect.

Works as described
Did great to hang my Alexa on a high outlet on the wall. Only thing I had to add was tape to keep the cable cover secured since the cable wrapped was slightly too thick.

No thick cords
The metal plate wasn't the exact color of the plastic, but it wasn't bad like I had seen others. My walls are cream so it doesn't bother me anyway. The first thing I'd like to say is that this thing is sturdy. I really had to push to get the shelf on it. That being said, thick cords do not work well with how shallow the cord holder area is. I could only fit one electric toothbrush cord inside. I'm not sure how the middle part is supposed to work either. Probably not for thick cords as well. I had to have my husband help hold the cord so that I could close the lid. Overall I'm pretty happy with it though. It got my toothbrushes off of the counter and it looks a lot better. My pictures are of the shelf, my finger showing about how big the wire holder part is, and of the inside.

Just what I needed
Needed a shelf for Mom’s hearing aids charger box, which was either sitting on the floor or getting pushed out of the way on the bench. Now it has its own resting place, undisturbed. The plate for the wall worked best for my outlet, because it didn’t matter if the ground was up or down, which was an issue with most all the others. The shelf size was bigger than I thought from the picture, and plenty for what I wanted. And I like that I can tuck the cord away in the shelf box so the excess isn’t hanging loose where it may get caught or pulled. It worked for this need, so I’m pleased.

Missing parts
Seems like the 2 pack only came with one wall plate, so now I’ve got some spare plastic. They did refund me but overall disappointing.Used mine for an Alexa echo dot and it doesn’t hold the cables very well in the compartment since the plastic lid just sits on top.

Bends under weight of Sonos One
It does not properly support the weight of a Sonos One. The shelf is made of cheap plastic and will bend forwards. The cover plate is made of sturdy metal with a nice finish, but then the rest of the shelf is made of cheap plastic. For CAD$50 why is the whole thing not made of the same sturdy metal?As other reviewers have stated, there is nothing to clip the shelf lid into place. This means that if your wire is not perfectly flat inside the wire storage compartment, it will push the shelf lid up if the speaker sitting on top is not heavy enough to keep it down. But then in the case of a heavier speaker like the Sonos One, it is too heavy and bends the shelf forward. Like a lose-lose situation.I wish I could return it but I did not see any other outlet shelf units that include cable storage.It's like a fantastic idea with a failed execution and poor quality. Unfortunately it may be your only option.
