The picture is not accurate but it works for UART though does not have an FTDI chip inside, so requires FTDI RJ45 to USB adapter
Item received has an rj45 and usb, and it was dumb cable only with built in resistor.It works although one will need a separate rj45 to usb adapter which has FTDI chip built in to use it
