Rugged watch for our soldier daughter
Our daughter smashed and broke her military watch in Army boot camp and hinted for us to get her a watch for Army boot camp graduation.I selected this Casio baby G Whale for its ruggedness shock resistance. No watch is indestructible but many reviewed the watch was built solid and could take rugged work that would test its shock resistance. It comes with a rugged strong plastic strap. There are different cities with different times zones which will be good when she is deployed. The watch came in an attractive gift tin with an easy to read operators manual. I was able to set the city, year, month, date, hours, minutes and seconds very easily .With a push of a button it illuminates well. Also there is a standard alarm as well. The watch says it is 200M water resistance. As a ex certified rescue diver I know that the 200M designation is misleading. A watches water resistance is based on the depth the watch is in and movement causing more pressure on the watch. My daughter was told she can take a shower with it, go swimming and maybe light snorkeling with it on. This IS NOT a true diving watch. To be safe for amateur sports diving a minimum of a 300M designation is needed. So, she was told not to go SCUBA diving with it.This INMO is a good watch for a military person who is hard on a watch. It lacks an altimeter, barometer and thermometer but for around $65 I was not expecting this. Satisfied cost wise with the watch. Got what I paid for. Did not want to pay more than around $65 as our daughter is hard on a watch. This should do her fine.I liked this Baby G whale so much I'm buying a Baby G for myself except I'm getting more features and spending more.My daughter commented that she loved the watch and it was exactly what she needed. So far her Baby G Whale is working great. 5 stars and recommended

Awesome watch! See correct photo (last pic)
This watch is awesome and I have had it for 8 years now. I love this watch as much as my Rolex and Cartier watches. It is stylish, rugged with all the necessary bells and whistles. Has world timer, 5 different alarm settings (do you really need to set 5 daily alarms?), countdown timer, stopwatch, and can store up to 25 phone numbers. I uploaded a correct photo of this model. See last pic with "notes" written below. The "Baby-G" logo is in white and not red as the other photos show. The stylish rod accents do not hinder the display. However, I had to wear reading glasses to read the tiny manual. The rods are encased in some type of rubber/resin material and are in place to prevent face from being damaged if you hit the watch against something. Pretty cool idea on Casio's part. The band is comfortable and I wear this watch outside when bicycling/tennis. The plastic band and watch case are made from shiny material which looks stylish. Great watch for the money. Matter of fact, now I want the Baby-G Ladies Reef watch.

Great sports watch for a tween!
I bought this watch for my 11 year old daughter, who is an active swimmer and very active kid all around. After going through two copies of the Timex "Ironman" watch that both failed due to water exposure, I wasn't interested in wasting money on a Timex again. In comes Casio. Given the fact that she likes to beat her things up, I wanted a G-Shock for her. Knowing how big those watches are, I was thrilled to find a Baby-G model. This one has just the right level of flair for a girl, and it really is not overly big at all on her wrist. She is a tall for her age, thin girl, and it still looks good size-wise - that was my biggest fear. She has worn it to several long course practices, and no water infiltration yet, but that's my biggest concern. My hope is that Casio has the water resistant thing down better than Timex.

Great triathlon watch
So at first I was a little worried that this watch was too big. I have freakishly small wrists, so it does appear large, but honestly I haven't noticed during my work outs. It makes a great unisex watch. As advertised it is totally water proof, I have used it on many pool work outs and haven't had any problems. I have used the timer and splits in the pool and they work great. The screen is easy to use and the back lighting is great. The band is plastic, but I haven't had much trouble with it making my arm uncomfortable. On a run or in the gym it works great. I am very happy with this product. I will say, it is very black and shiny, which I like but I could see some people thinking that it is too shiny.

Best watch ever
My former Casio watch band broke, and it was going to cost just as muc to get a new band as it was to get a new watch of the same caliber. So, I went on the hunt for. New watch. Unfortunately, the ones that I wanted were in the, shall we say, upper price range. I fnd another one that I really liked, but it was sold out everywhere, totally unavailable. My associate saw me in my desperation (we HAVE to have a watch for work) and showed me her watch. I was sold. So easy to use, all the functions I needed. And, well, when it gives you. Cat, dog, dolphin, or puffer fish on the half hour, who can turn that down?!?! I have had it for a few months now and traveled to other time zones, including oversees. I love the feature where it lets you select your time zone based on the city. So easy. An say to use watch with cool extra features. This is the best watch I have had. Yes. I am a scuba diver and plan to wear it.

Great watch, reasonable price!
Fun fact: It has a little pixel animation of an animal in the day-of-the-week spot at each 30-second mark! :)On the more practical side, it's a comfortable band. I like that you can mute the non-alarm sounds, since my old watch made way too much unnecessary noise in my opinion. I like that the date is always displayed rather than needing to push a button, and the phone number database is a nice idea. I would say the menus/modes are well programmed, and the buttons are consistent in their use so it's easy to remember how to use all the features even though this watch has a lot of them. It took me a second to figure out that the date it YY-MM-DD rather than MM-DD-YY, but I actually prefer it that way so no biggy. You can't change the format though, so if that would bug you it might be a downside.

Love it 😍 😍😍
Love this watch. I have the transparent style of this model and this serves as my back up watch. I just don’t know how this can store phone numbers as what the description of this watch says. I have not figured it out yet. But overall this is one of the best watch in the market. Not bulky ... just about the right size and shape for a woman’s wrist. I love every inch of this watch. Worth the money spent on this watch. ❤️❤️❤️

working fine so far
Seems sturdy enough, wasn't too hard to program given this is my first digital. The top and lower proctection bars obscure the reading of the watch to some degree, if you do not look right down at it. otherwise so far so good. Not too bulky which is what I was looking for.

The battery died after a year but the watch worked well until that point. Probably due to the image that would dash across the screen.
