Great! Then this halter might be perfect for you. I really wish that manufacturers would give some idea of size on these more often than they do. Two stars because it's pretty and made OK. No more because this halter is too small for anything more than an average-sized horse, and it won't give a lot of tying latitude even then. If your child is in lessons and needs to catch a different horse every week, for example, forget it. If you work a barn and have to bring in a lot of horses, forget it. I gave it to a friend with a Tennessee Walker, but she's not sure it will fit her 15.2-hand, 1100-pound horse, either. Make it bigger, and they will come, folks! A 15-hand horse 1000 pounds or less with a lean head should be fine. Instead, I bought a Mustang 2-color halter with two cool tassels for just a few dollars more, and it's prettier--striking, actually-- and has a fabulous long lead rope as well. The Mustang fits my horse with 6 inches to spare beyond the knot, and the feel of the halter was much easier to manipulate--less stiff right out of the box. It's so sharp my horse was actually preening! Now THAT's a halter. I'm a little angry, actually. I hate wasting money on horse stuff, but this "premium" halter got dirty at the barn, so I couldn't return it.

Simple yet durable. The bronc band is also removable which is nice.
