Severin BBQ Grill
I use to have something similar to this years ago and it was manufactured by Redring I believe. It had no water bath and used small pieces of volcanic rock instead, otherwise the design was the same. It worked a treat with lovely flavours. I dumped it when moving house thinking I would buy a new one. What a mistake - they had stopped making them. Eventually I came across Severin and bought a previous model to this to experiment. I dispensed with the water (which takes all the smoke and flavour away) and used volcanic rock and smashed it up to make it smaller to protect the base. It worked fine with no overheating whatsoever and have used it for two years. On the strength of that I bought the PG2791 so that I can entertain friends and it works a treat with lovely BBQ flavours as did the previous model which I still use when there are only two of us. If anything the lesson to learn is to BBQ on low heat - it soon heats up and you will end up turning it down to No1 or No2 to save burning it. It cooks better and the meat is so much tastier. The big plus as apposed to a charcoal BBQ is that you can keep it going until you want to eat it and not have to mess about stoking up. Happy BBQing!

Good BBQ grill but no UK plug
Very good product! It grills very well and it is powerful. Plus, it is easy to clean.It will be perfect to entertain friends this summer.Although we had to buy an adapter because the grill did not come with an UK plug!

Ok but not brilliant
It works ok but not so powerful as I expected, so not fantastic results. Easy to clean though and large enough for a family. Very short cord so you will need an extension if not close to a socket
